I had to have a biopsy done and the "bedside manner" was incredible. Having a phobia of doctors has been with me for 45 years now. Shara explained everything to me and they helped comfort me after the procedure when I was almost ready to pass out. They allowed me all the time to recover and get back to my normal self after the procedure. One person got me ice packs as I was dripping with sweat, another worker got me some cold water while the doctor stayed with me. I have been to two other dermatologists before this place and one doctor said she was not concerned with what she saw. That review was documented in another post. The second dermatologist said she did not know what it was and referred me to my PCP. Dermatology partners was the only place that took their time, listened to me and cared for me. A big thank you to the entire staff who were all professional and accommodating to my phobia of doctors. Looking forward to finding out what's going on with my skin after 18 months, 12 prescriptions and two other doctors that did not care enough. Thank you all again and it's a pleasure to take the time and provide my experience with them. Five Star experience.

I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for my appointment and the front desk staff has always been professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating both in person and by phone. The doctors are world class and I refer them at any opportunity and without hesitation. I love this office so much that even after moving an hour away years ago, I still drive back just to have the same care. I am very picky about my medical providers, so none of this is said lightly. I will say this, which does not affect my rating here: When Dr. Ilyas' Montgomery Dermatology became part of Schweiger, calls began being directed to what I assume to be a central call center that handled the volume for the large number of offices in the practice (I believe it's around 7 locations). This was an unfortunate change from the days of direct contact with the office, as my experience after they joined was hit or miss, as some requests/follow up questions never made it to the doctor, whereas that was never the case prior to Schweiger. However, I called today for the first time in a while to see if they accept my new insurance and the call went directly to KOP, which was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully, that is a permanent change.

I couldn't even walk for a day or two. He said I'd have to go through this horrible procedure every 2-3 weeks for up to a year! That or C02 burning which he said would be worse. Much nicer, younger doctor who's approach was virtually pain free and 1/4 of the time to remove the warts. I needed another check up and made an appointment. The practice is inside a large building with other practices. I was interrogated at the main entrance about my health, which really tripped me up. I was expecting to be screened, but the gentleman working seemed like he's be better working as an officer. He made me feel like I did something wrong? They have a machine to take your temperature, which was better than having some one personally taking your temperature. I have been through the screening process a lot so I know the routine, but this was by far the most intimidating. The office is on the main floor right next to the main door. By the time I checked in, I was not feeling as chipper as I usually am because of the screening. The staff at check in were very unhappy and not as loving as I remembered. The office shares the same space as a OBGYN. It was sad to see everyone coming in were on edge. I felt bad. And then the check in staff were discussing having covid and it really made everyone uncomfortable. I was brought back to my room and did not wait long for the doctor to come in. She was very warm friendly and tried very hard to make me feel comfortable. The only issue was that she rushed the check up that I didn't have time to ask my questions. The issues that I did want to talk to her about she said she could help, but just left. I am not sure what was up that day, but she was just trying to get me out the door. I really did not get the check up I needed and I was overlooked. The doctor was quite nice, but something was up that day, or Covid really changed how they worked with patients with regular check ups. I will be looking for another dermatologist in the future.
