The actual office's lobby is very nice, with lots of comfy seating, & the person who checked me in was SO nice. This office seems to have an all-woman team, which was really comforting for me! I saw Dr. Scheuer & she was so kind, professional, & thorough. I had a skin exam, which was thorough & gentle, while seemingly fast. She was able to answer all of my questions, prescribed me some medication, & recommended a follow-up; I'm actually excited to get to come back in a couple of months.

Edited to add: I have no less than 4 calls from Nicole the office manager - after my review. The…read more4th call came after she emailed me to which I replied requesting they cease all contact. My mom had removals here in the past and always healed with very minimal scarring, so I was…read moresurprised and disappointed with my more recent experiences over the last couple of months. Healing seemed different than what she'd experienced before, and the scarring was much more noticeable than expected. I'm not sure if something changed with the process or materials used, but unfortunately the results have made me hesitant to bring her here in the future if this continues. I'll still give two stars because the doctors and staff have always been very kind and professional, and the procedures she had done last year healed extremely well with almost unnoticeable scarring. We were very happy with those results at the time.

Gaslighting, Sexist, and Medically Contradictory. Do NOT come here…read more I came to Twin Cities Dermatology as a patient with a severe, documented skin condition (Prurigo Nodularis). What I found was a clinic that actively gaslit me, dismissed my documented symptoms, and attempted to rewrite my medical history to avoid taking responsibility. The Gaslighting: I presented with clear, hard nodules on my forehead and body. They initially documented my diagnosis correctly as "Prurigo Nodularis" and started me on a heavy-duty biologic (Dupixent) along with intralesional injections. However, after I raised concerns about my disability paperwork and asked for accommodations, they suddenly changed their tune. They began calling my condition "just eczema." You don't prescribe a powerful biologic like Dupixent for "just eczema." That is a contradiction. They are trying to downplay the severity of my condition to avoid liability. The Sexism: The clinic appears to be exclusively staffed by women, with only one male provider (who is gay). This is not a coincidence. They systematically dismiss straight, Black men as "difficult" or "argumentative" patients. They ignored my explicit request to exclude a specific provider from my sessions. I was not treated with respect or dignity; I was treated like an inconvenience. Refusal to Accommodate: Despite having documented medical records showing I have not been able to work due to the severity of my condition (sleep disruption, concentration issues, mood impacts), they refused to sign my (Disability) form. They claimed they couldn't assess my limitations, despite their own notes stating that my condition impacts my daily activities. Bottom Line: This clinic is not a place for healing. It is a place to be dismissed, gaslit, and under-treated. The doctor and staff will lie to protect themselves rather than help their patients. Do your research, bring your own documentation, and be prepared to fight for basic respect. I will never be returning here, and I hope you won't either.

Won't go back. Went for the first time as a new patient for a skin cancer exam and discovered I had…read moreeczema as well. I was given a cream that made it worse. I went back 7 days later to be seen again for a follow up to the cream and was charged for another office visit. When I called to find out why I was billed for the first visit (should have been preventative) and why was I charged full price for the follow up, I had to make repeated calls. When calling the main line, most of the time it goes to voicemail and they may or may not call you back. When I finally reached someone, they said they had to have billing call me back. After multiple follow up calls, I was told the first visit was diagnostic so can't be billed as preventative and the second visit required another exam so wasn't considered follow up. The exam was all of 2 seconds of the Dr seeing things were worse and gave me a shot to minimize symptoms. They said I was examed again and it had to be billed as such and not a follow up. I will not be going back not only because I feel like I was unfairly charged but also because trying to get anyone on the phone was extremely difficult. I will stick with park Nicollet.

I was…read morevery happy that I got a second opinion from Dr. Cho and that she was able to review the pathology from the previous provider. When it came about that Mohs was necessary to remove a basal cell carcinoma from my scalp, Dr. Tschetter, her assistant, Shayna, and her scheduling coordinator, Christina, were all fantastic at helping me out. I was able to get an appointment for the same week that I called, they kept me calm and answered all of my questions. Even though I had to go back 3x to get cancer removed, I was glad that Dr. Tschetter was conservative in her approach so that I'll have minimal scarring. She was also meticulous about how she closed up the site so that I will have a straight-line scar along the center part of my hair - it'll be imperceptible once it's fully healed. I am really optimistic about my recovery and couldn't be more thankful that I landed at Dermatology Specialists for this procedure.

I originally scheduled a mole check and had one additional question, but was told I couldn't address anything beyond the mole exam during that visit. I ended up making a separate appointment for my other question, which required me to take time off work. The provider saw me for about two minutes (literally) to answer my question, and I was still charged a full visit fee. A medical staff said that didn't seem accurate that I couldn't do both in the same visit. I reached out to the billing department but nothing was resolved. I guess it's my fault for saying I had an additional question when I called to make the appointment. Next time I won't. I was told some providers allow you to ask an additional question or a couple of questions during an appointment, and some don't. I gave two stars because I did genuinely like the providers themselves, but I won't be returning.

First of all, she has incredible eye contact, says funny things, and is very educated on anatomy (she speaks intelligently it makes me feel secure, and develops great trust quickly). Lindsey took the time to listen to my concerns and educated me on the process, and when performing the procedure she had such a calm presence and demeanor and made for a more relaxing situation. Lindey helped with lip filler, cheek filler, and Botox. You could tell that patience and comfort are one of Lindsey's top priorities along with precision. I'm so happy my lips didn't bruise!
