When I had a concern recently I made an appointment and was seen without delay, which is a plus. Even if a problem is not life threatening it eases anxiety to be seen quickly and I was. This time the office staff was polite enough, but not very welcoming. Dr Harre was not as attentive as she had been in the past. I felt like my concern was not taken seriously. She prescribed an ointment which I had filled but which had no effect. I was not told to return if there was no improvement, which there wasn't. I went to another doctor who did a biopsy. In the end, my concern turned out not to be a serious matter but treating it with an ointment was pointless. My two experiences, many years apart, were like night and day with this office. If I ever need another dermatology visit I will have to look elsewhere.

Dr. Guarino is an awesome, nice doctor who is the only reason I'm not giving one star! I've had no issues coming here until recently in Somersworth. The office staff is rude and dismissive. I've been a patient with no issues all these years, but because I had an issue getting to my appointment once (paid the $75 fee for no 24 hour notice) and then unfortunately got hit with a migraine so bad it would have affected my eye exam on the day I was to go to my rescheduled date, they wanted to charge me $75 again for no notice. I argued that it wasn't something I could get a 24 hour notice for, that it hit me hard and was making it hard to use my eyes. The response I got was as if I was this ongoing problem patient that has always caused them nothing but strife with wasting the doctor's appointment times. That "it's extremely busy here and I don't have time to argue with you. I'll look in your file and see if I can cancel the fee but I'll have to put a note in your file to have you pay up front before your next rescheduled visit because you've canceled twice with not enough notice." Seriously?! Like I said to her, I've been a patient with no problems with appointments for years and the moment I'm not perfect I get a note in my file to pay upfront?? Horrible way to treat a loyal, long term patient who never had issues with appointments beforehand. I'm already looking for a new doctor because that's BS treatment. Completely unprofessional in the way they speak and treat patients. Dr. Guarino, reviews on google are also in agreement that it's clear I'm not alone that your office staff are driving away patients which is sad considering you're such a great doctor. Office staff play a very important role for doctor visits, they are the ones who deal with patients the most, they reflect on a bussiness. You can be the best doctor ever but it doesn't make up for being treated like dirt by your staff. My loyalty only stands when respect and consideration are involved by all people who are supposed to be caring for me when you aren't around and your office doesn't care. Good luck!

The other office person (Carrie) was a pleasure to deal with but I will not give my business to anyone that treats me or my family this way. If Jennifer leaves the practice I will update my review to 5 stars and my family will be loyal customers/patients again.

The front desk reception is exceptionally rude. If you carry any outstanding balance, patient care and mental health immediately cease to be a priority--the sole focus becomes collecting payment. Furthermore, descriptions claiming the facility is "clean" are inaccurate; located inside a mini-mall, the office gives the impression of a temporary pop-up operation rather than an established medical clinic. I received treatment from Micah Malenfant for years. He eventually expressed dissatisfaction with Seaside and departed to launch a private practice, suggesting I transition with him to ensure continuity of care. It was only after I moved to his private practice that Seaside suddenly claimed my final appointment was not covered by insurance, leaving me with a substantial balance. Ever since I prioritized continuing care with my long-term provider, they have treated me poorly regarding this balance. Years later, Mr. Malenfant began abruptly ignoring my communications right when my long-standing prescription renewals were due. After failing to submit my refills or respond to me for over a week, his eventual reply was vague and failed to disclose that his private practice had closed and he was forced to return to Seaside. He subsequently emailed asking if I was available on a specific date to figure out my treatment; I confirmed my availability immediately, but heard nothing back. Rather than professionally addressing the disruption to my care or providing a clear explanation, he sent extensive, highly unprofessional emails detailing his own personal issues and life crises. While I wish hardship on no one and hope he receives any care he may need, a provider cannot operate this way while managing patients. Shortly after apologizing and promising to work things out, his final message stated he would simply no longer respond to me. Both the facility and Micah Malenfant demonstrate severe unprofessionalism, prioritizing balance collection over patient safety and mental health. Navigating healthcare is difficult enough, and no one deserves to experience this level of neglect. If management takes accountability and resolves these issues appropriately, I will gladly remove this post, as I have no desire to criticize anyone unfairly. Until then, please stay away for your own mental health and safety.

I was so…read morenervous, but when I came in for the first time the entire staff - like they had known me my whole life and were genuinely excited to see me again, despite never having met me before - greeted me with an enthusiastic, "Hi, Steff!" It felt genuine. It was so warm, like a hug with words. As did the space/waiting room which is so lovely and so inviting. I'm currently working with Christopher May, and he was a joy to talk with. He was so personable; I appreciated how distractingly chatty (in the most engaging and friendly way possible) he was, because it made the experience seem much less painful and much more quick than it probably was. He's got really good energy, and I felt comfortable from the first moment we talked on the phone for my free consultation (and I had endless questions then). It's infrequent these days that your first experience with a business is an immediate success, but I knew from the moment I walked into 207 Laser that I made the right decision. But... I was really hurting, and they took care of me with such care and professionalism. 1) They were proactive, constantly reaching out to me to make sure I had all of the appointments I needed, and they were always available to speak on a phone call. Their operation is incredibly well-oiled and organized. 2) Everyone from the receptionist, to the lab technician, to the physicians expressed real, genuine concern for my well-being. Their kindness meant so much. And I could see them interacting similarly with all of the other patients. 3) I had seen several teams of physicians, totaling probably 15 medical professionals prior to coming to Rheumatology Associates, and no one could crack the case of what was wrong with me. Dr. Kerouack and Dr. Gartner figured it out immediately, and quickly had me on the mend. I'm so thankful to this wonderful organization!
