I hired the wrong tile contractor!…read more I've waited about 2 months to make this review, but it's now time. I hired Vinny Gunneson with Precision Tile (aka Precision Installation) back in July of 2019 to replace the tile in my shower.  He seemed like a nice young man that was eager to work.  The first red flag I should have seen was when he asked for 25% down before he would start. Now mind you, he was not buying any materials. He gave me the list of items to purchase for him.  Of course he didn't show up when he said he was going to. Constant delays, family emergency, and setbacks. Excuse after excuse.   The job was supposed to take a week and lasted almost a month.  I told him I was okay with the delays, as long as everything was done right.   I also told him I'd give him an extra 10% if everything was done right.  Upon completion, I noticed multiple scratched and crooked tiles. The floor was so uneven that water would not drain properly.  He assured me he would come back and fix the problem "within a week".  He even gave me a handwritten note with his name on it promising such. Unfortunately I paid him before he returned. And as you can guess, he never returned.   I blame some of this on myself for not researching his company a little better. A quick Google search showed he has a triple F rating. The comments on the Better Business bureau are almost identical to each other and what I experienced. I'm really surprised at myself for falling to this deception.
