I had a very unique situation- I am a remote investor based in CA looking to buy a home in Chicago. To make matters more complicated, I was in Asia for the entirety of the 2 month buying period. From initial contact to closing, Jared handled EVERYTHING for me because I was remote, and always with a smile. I trusted him 100% to always give me the truth and treat the purchase as though it was his own home that he was buying. In the end, we managed to beat an all cash offer that was higher because Jared built a fantastic rapport with the seller's agent. The fact that we won was 100% due to him, I have no shadow of a doubt in my mind of this. As if that was not enough, he also went above and beyond what was expected of a real estate agent on multiple counts. He always took calls at 6 am or midnight his time because of my being in Asia. Every time I needed to do anything (ex: notary, inspection, find a lender), Jared would give me all the options in front of me along with detailed step by step. I literally felt as though he was carrying me through the entire way. One specific example: when I needed to get a power of attorney notarized in Bangkok, he went out of his way to research the closest US embassy for me to get a notary, without asking for it, Jared sent me directions on how to get there, the embassy's hours of operations, followed by directions to the nearest FedEx, along with the address of my lawyer's office that I needed to send the POA to.
