Situation: I received a pre-approval letter from a different mortgage broker. Three weeks from closing, I followed up with this "other" firm to check on the appraisal, and learned that they had completely dropped the ball. I panicked, as I thought the loan was in the bag. I called Dustin Schaff less than three weeks from close. Action: Dustin and Chuck performed tremendously over the next few weeks to get up to speed. Given the complexity of the loan, this was no small feat, but they focused on the transaction, and appropriately structured what ended up being the final product. Result: The transaction closed.
