Do not go here!! I sat there for over an hour, for a 5 minute cleaning. And they wanted to add all this extra stuff. Telling me that my insurance only discounts services not fully covered. When I ask for the paperwork print out at the bottom there was an option in gray. I asked why that was not offered to me, she said they were not legally obliged to tell me about it and they don't do it. They add a bunch of crazy stuff to get more money out of your insurance and you. Very dishonest. read more

Office lady's rude to my wife. Pulled off and replaced a gold crown. I was not told It needed replaced. When I called to ask about it and wanted the gold to sell 5000k an ounce. Wife went to PU a few months ago staff was rude to her and said they couldn't get it was a bio hazzard. They called me said they came. Up with a value and put a credit on acct. Go in today they say the crown was gold plated.. Never heard such a thing. Gold plated would worn off after 15-20+ years. Dr asked if I was calling him a.liar said yep. You couldn't identify which was mine the day my wife went to PU but you now all sudden did\can with gold scam guy. Total BS.. I'm only giving them one star in order to post my comment! Please stay as far away from this company as possible! I've had the worst billing experience ever! My last appointment I paid cash out of pocket, and somehow they managed to take an additional $222 out of my account from a debit card on file!! Why? BECAUSE THEY NEVER REMOVED CHARGES FOR A TREATMENT THAT I DIDNT RECEIVE!!! I've been trying for close to 3 weeks to get a refund! First I was told there's nothing they could do because the business manager was on vacation, but then they were able to contact her and she supposedly "issued a refund". I was told the money would be refunded on the same card that they took the money from, a week went by, and nothing. I called the following week, and somehow they issued the refund on a card that was supposed to be remove from my account 3 months ago, and not the one that I updated at that time. They didn't issue the refund to the same card they stole the money from! It wasn't until after I called to follow up on the refund i was told about the 2nd screw up from their office! I was told about the refund being sent to the wrong card, it was rejected, tried to issue to correct card and somehow that was rejected too. Then I was told a check was mailed out, but they couldn't give me any information on when it was mailed, where it was mailed, a tracking number, and not even a check number!! I was told that they use a third party billing and that there isn't a number for the patients to call the billing company. They're not trying to help me get this taken care of. Samantha has really been as helpful as she possibly can, but her resources are very limited. Everyone else just doesn't care, they're not helping, they're not returning calls, and act like I'm making a big deal about $222. $222 is a lot of money to a single mom in today's recession! It's not their money, so they don't care about what's at stake here! They had no problem stealing my money, but it's like pulling teeth (no pun intended) to get back what's been taken from me. This mistake on their part cost me a lot, and I'm gearing up to take legal action, not because of the $222, but the aftermath of what happened to me personally because of them stealing my money. It really screwed up a lot of things I had setup financially, and it ended up costing me way more than $222 in the end. This Little mistake caused way more damage, stress, and hardship that I could have ever imagined. Thanks Derby Modern Dentistry! I'll never ever walk foot in that office again!!! The new management and dentist are great. I am very glad I went to derby modern denistry in front of Target/Dillions on rock. I got 2crowns done in the same day.They are able to scan your teeth right in the office while you wait for them to be made. The staff is friendly and caring! The dentist and Hygenist were very capable and personable. I felt like they truly cared about my visit. Can't recommend enough. read more
