Once we got inside and found a good vantage point, I could have stayed all day. What could be more fun than watching people rush to get on a platform that then spins them off into a wall. The last one left wins but if they are too good, the staff will throw medicine balls at them or try to snare them with ropes to dislodge them. Coming from the US where everyone sues everyone, it was crazy to see no waivers, not much in the way of safety... Anyway, I can't think of anything more fun than watching a pile of 8 year olds get spin off into a wall while the DJ blasts "Macarena".

We haven't found a ton of things to do for younger kids in Munich INDOORS. When it's freezing…read moreoutside (literally), we don't want to stroll the Marienplatz or sit in a biergarten with a 3 and 1 year old. So I have been scouring the internet trying to find fun things to do with children here. The Children and Youth Museum was a fun place to check out this weekend. It's located in a train station and is probably best for 6+ year olds although our 3 year old had fun exploring the "Jungle" exhibit. Under 6 is free and 6 yrs old + is 4.50 euros. It seems as though they only have 1 exhibit for almost an entire year so it would be good once but not again until it changes because it's pretty small. I wouldn't come here if I was just visiting but if you live here, it's a fun & educational afternoon for families. There isn't a cafe but they have tables and chairs if you want to bring your own snack. They also have different events so I would monitor their calendar. Jane Goodall actually came by for an afternoon and that would have been amazing to see if we had known about it!
