In Northern Europe, the day are getting shorter now. Several hotels are opened by later evening, but grocery store and supermarket are closed. When I arrived at Rothenburg ob der Tauber Central station, It was 6;30 p.m. Around the station, it was darkness. I headed toward to a hotel where I reserved before by my walk with my suitcases. I found the store on the way to the hotel, and then I hit upon coming back to here after I checked in the hotel because I didn't have a dinner and wanted to eat something and alcohol drinking. And I thought that a restaurant of the hotel are closed. Moreover, I was so tired of keeping on board on trains from Paris to Stuttgart. If you went a grocery store or supermarket at evening around Rothenburg ob der Tauber, I recommend this store. Though there are some stores in front of Rothenburg Central station, they will be closed very early, maybe until 6;00 p.m. This store has various kinds of snacks and foods and alcohol drinking. So I was satisfied with a lot of kinds foods which I can choice as my taste something. Especially some bottles of wines are best. They are very delicious wines.

This LiDL is a very small store in our neighborhood--some of US convenient stores/gas stations are…read morebigger than this one. This particular chain of supermarkets are somewhat smaller than other ones, and it is considered as a discount store. Therefore, their merchandise is generally cheaper compared to other similar supermarkets. Since this particular one is a smaller store, choice of merchandise is somewhat limited (according to its limited floor space). Also, in general, merchandise they carry are not the same as other more expensive supermarkets do, so I can't really do an apple to apple comparison in terms of price. You get what you pay for...a basic principle of the free-market society... Nonetheless, it's always a great bargain if you can find something you need/want for less. That's what makes shopping at this store worthwhile, I suppose.
