CONS: The biggest bummer is that this establishment is cash only, and on top of that, there is no clearly visible sign which informs customers of that. Fortunately I had some cash, but I don't care for bad surprises like that. Secondly, they didn't have proper change! How can you expect customers to pay cash and then NOT have change? I was shorted 6 euro cents as a result because that was apparently all they had. It's also a bummer they have no wifi... every proper cafe has free wifi, especially so close to main train stations. GREAT bakery and coffee shop…read more Here are my reasons for the statements above. 1. Huge coffee drinks selection and by huge - I mean huge! But also kids will find their jam here - freshly squeezed orange juice for example, which is always a good call for adults too. They also have yummy hot chocolate drinks and plenty of teas to choose from. 2. Their pastry selection is huge as well and I have tried like six different types of pastries so far and all of them were super tasty. Cannot wait to come back again today to try some more. 3. The place is very spacious and provides a great ambiance for meeting up with a friend for breakfast or snack and it's a fantastic little spot to catch up on some work/school stuff. 4. The food menu is not limited only to bakery products, there are also warm and salty dishes to choose from such as pasta and salads. Vegetarians friendly! Lactose free folks friendly! The only thing I would say could improve a bit is he customer service but that's perhaps because my German is very weak (close to none) and I know that Berliners sometimes get irritated by all the English speakers around... but what can one do? I don't think I would get further with my native language - Czech. In any case, I would recommend this place, because even if you don't speak German, you can just point at things like me. Cappuccinos for both and I got a raisin roll for takeaway. We had a nice short chat with our order taker and she even helped us figure out how to pay using coins. I'm just finishing up my raisin roll as I write this, and it is sweet and very good.
