My kiddo needed services from Resolve after being referred by her former therapist. This review is…read morenot a reflection of the other metro locations and solely based on this location alone. We used Resolve from January 2023- up until around late last summer. Location: 5/10 The location is ideal, but can be far for folks that live further south. Sadly, it was inconvenient for us. Telehealth is available, but keep this in mind for evening appointments when are battling rush hour and peak travel times. Availability: 2/10 The LSCW we were paired had limited availability. She booked clients back to back, with little breaks in between. This made it difficult to schedule anything with her. Her latest appointment was 8pm; which worked for us briefly, but it quickly led to her burnout and emotional unavailability to my child. It was also pretty difficult to get ahold of her. Initially, I had to reach out to the front desk/admin to relay a message or schedule an appointment. I finally requested her direct email to reach out, which slightly improved communication. Vibe Check: 2/10 The office itself is nice, but the vibe was way off to me. The decor reminds me of a dentist office in the late 70's, early 80s and smelled like the plastic bib they place over you before starting a cleaning. It just did not feel very welcoming or inviting to me. I always felt awkward being in the waiting room. I know it is not easy having your child go to therapy, but nobody looked happy to be there. It was the ultimate doom and gloom. Nap time: 0/10 During my child's sessions, the therapist would wrap themselves in a blanket and doze off. This was no surprise to me, as she scheduled her last appointment at 8pm. Eventually, she started cutting back her hours to be done around 5, but at that point, burnout had set in and the damage to my kid had been done. This is beyond unprofessional. Improper Termination: 1/10 I really do not think termination was properly done with my kiddo in a way that provided closure. Luckily, we were able to find services with another therapist, but there was just lack of communication and closure at the end of our time with her. Again, this is due to burnout, which is common with therapists that book the way she did. Overall: 2/10 I cannot recommend this Resolve location to anyone I love and care about. I honestly believe there is not great management at this location because I observed burnout and the therapists did not seem happy to be there. As a result of this, I suffered from depression and started having noticeable anxiety issues after his death. I homeschool our children, and these things seriously impacted my ability to do it well and keep up with my normal everyday responsibilities as a wife and mother. Foggy brain was a big factor too. I had taken an antidepressant for about two years and didn't like how it caused me to be numb and not cry anymore over the loss of our son. So, I weaned myself off of it and began having issues with doing my duties as a homeschool mother again. Then I was introduced to TMS and my homeschooling is dong better than ever. The Crossroads program was a miracle for my son and our family. After his years of using drugs and…read morealcohol, overdosing, and trying to detox on his own, we found this program. The very first night visiting was wonderful for his father and I. We had hope. Our son, however, wasn't so certain but we managed to get him back the next night. After being surrounded by a group of young people just like him( but sober,) he became convinced it was the right place and the right time for him to become clean and sober. From that night on until now, nearly two years later, the Crossroads family which becomes your own family, has brought our son back and beyond. He has found a group of friends that are so amazing, supportive, smart beyond their years! Clean and sober fun fills their lives! The counselors and mentors at Crossroads have kept us in the loop and in close and regular contact as our son progresses through the program. Parent support meetings, functions galore, and true friendships have been made for the family as well. It is nearly impossible to say how much I am impressed with the director, David, and all of the counselors. Our son and family have been treated with respect, love, and most of all, excellent guidance on this most deadly disease of addiction. Our son will soon graduate from the program. He has a job now he loves, pays his own bills, is becoming a personal trainer, writing and recording music, and a group of friends that I would happily call my own. The happiest part for me is that the sparkle in his eyes reflect the sobriety that Crossroads and his Higher Power have given him.

I've been to a few PT joints in my life. Good folks, good PT…read more This PT HOME is far FAR above the rest. My son told me about them and I thought "ehh. Next time I need a PT/OT, sure, why not?" I felt like I was visiting my favorite nieces and nephews and I was their fav rock star auntie. I love that they remembered the names and lives of returning patients, even if they weren't seeing that patient. As long as I live in this area, I will never go to another PT joint as I have found my PT home.

I am an older handicapped woman who uses a cane and wheelchair to get around. My old chair is over…read more6 years old and so my doctor ordered me a new one. I was told by the NuMotion company that I had to get another PT evaluation and to go to Blue Ridge Therapy for an evaluation. My first appointment arrived during a HUGE snow storm so I called to reschedule. It is very dangerous for me to try to walk far let alone on a slippery sidewalk. They were not happy when I called to reset the appointment but reset it with me for two weeks out. They said there wasn't anything sooner. When my second appointment came due, again we were hit with another huge snow storm and the snow was coming down in sheets and the roads and schools were closing. I called again to reset, explaining that I cannot drive in this or walk in this... and the woman was very nasty with me. I explained it was dangerous for me to get out in this even in my car, let alone try to navigate the snow and ice. I also explained that my husband had just got home from the hospital from surgery and also cannot walk around. Again she was hateful but reset me again for another two weeks out. The day my appointment came the weather was fine so I went. They had me filling out extended therapy paperwork and I explained I was only there for a wheelchair evaluation at the request of the wheelchair provider who said I needed it before my insurance would authorize it. They told me everyone has to fill out that paperwork. I did it even tho I knew it had absolutely NOTHING to do with why I was even there. They also said I had a copay due immediately of $55.00 and she needs to collect that up front, and I told the woman that I have had the same insurance for over 10 years and not once have I been charged for an evaluation, and she told me they charge for a specialist copay. I still didn't believe that especially when my copay for a specialist is a set $50.00 not $55... I told them I was going to check with my insurance company because I have had misunderstandings on coverage in the past so I needed to verify that. So I called my insurance company while I was sitting in their lobby. The receptionist kept interrupting my conversation with the insurance representative who was telling me that I did NOT need a physical evaluation in the first place and that my wheelchair had already been approved over a month ago. The ladies at the front desk kept talking over my conversation speaking loudly across the room in front of other patients in their lobby. The ladies not only violated my HIPPA rights by discussing the treatment they said I needed , and spoke including my personal information, etc.., but they were rude, hateful, argumentative, and extremely unprofessional during my phone conversation. So much so that the lady at Humana heard every word they said to me they were so loud. They argued that I needed it to get my approval and that my insurance company was wrong, and I would have to come back, and kept interrupting as the insurance rep kept trying to give me the APPROVAL authorization number. I was so upset by the end that my husband who escorted me there advised that I just leave after the lady from Humana said the same thing to me. We decided to leave and I calmly thanked the ladies for their time on the way out. When I got to my car another woman from their office had followed me out and wanted to know what was going on. I only told her how rude and unprofessional her people were and that perhaps they should provide more training for their front desk personnel. It was the craziest experience I have ever had in all my years. I agree with the other people leaving reviews for this place... It IS all about the money.

It was interesting...ecause upon starting my search for some hypnotherapy here in Kansas City, I found Annie and noticed that she was a graduate of the esteemed HMI, aka Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Los Angeles. In what feels like a past life itself, I lived in LA for many years and one cannot but be aware of HMI and what a respected institution it is. (Freeway signs directing drivers to the HMI campus cannot be missed!) Anyway, that was a sign in itself that she would probably be a good hypnotherapist. Suffice it to say, I was thrilled with the results of my initial hypnosis sessions. Her warm and gentle demeanor, and strong natural insight into the most effective way to guide a person through the sensitive emotional issues that are addressed with hypnosis - were beyond impressive. And so appreciated. I even later on went back to her for her reiki service, which I think is not something she promotes quite as much as her hypnosis, but she really should. In fact I wouldn't have known about her being a reiki master had it not come up during our chat after one of our hypnotherapy sessions. Words can hardly express how amazed and relieved I was when she was able to bring some very strong relief to a sports injury through only a couple of quick reiki sessions. As a result of what I experienced with Annie, I've actually been telling people how truly miraculous reiki can be - which is something of which I myself was previously unaware. Final verdict is: if you need a hypnotherapist - reach out to Annie. You will not be disappointed.
