She was super quick to respond to our emails and questions, very friendly, and very competent. We also liked the majority of teachers that we met who interacted with our child. The only complaint we made during our time there was that during drop-off and pick-up things always seemed a bit more hectic than they needed to be -- it seemed like having another teacher in there during that time would have helped. The other challenge was teacher turnover, though I imagine this is fairly common at any daycare center. Of the 12 or so teachers we met, five moved on in the year that we were there. Luckily they ended up being replaced by other great teachers. Our only reason for leaving is that a 10% discount on two children was still much higher than us just hiring a nanny.

If Joanie doesn't have an answer or a solution she takes the time to find out what avenues or people need to be involved to solve the problem. I met with Karen, the director, after a girlfriend of mine recommended them. We walked throughout the entire school, not just the infant room- which is what we needed. The do in house field trips! They go all the way up to kindergarten, and while touring, I could tell all the staff and kids were happy. This is important to me, as I want the best for my child. They have a chef! They introduce nutritional meals and plant a seed of understanding food groups at a young age, to instill healthy food choices as they grow. I LOVE THIS! I was talking to a neighbor mom who couldn't understand why they would have a chef, and to ME, it's important. Because cooking, prepping, rationing out snacks and meals, is tough sometimes. I run a business and manage an office, and my husband works starting his days at 630 at a glass contracting facility, so we are BUSY! Knowing my daughter can get the proper attention and great food, makes me feel VERY confident that I'm providing her with the best school. They have monitors and video cameras, which helps me feel the kids are safe. There's monitors in the front lobby. Everything was clean, everything was labeled, and it felt like they're managed very well. From sign language, to educational groups, to the hands on staff- I just feel this is the best center in town. I literally cried in the parking lot! My only complaint is the price. It's nearly double what other daycares nearby offer! Their full-time rate is 500$. I understand they offer a LOT and it's the best of the best, but 3-400 range would be more appropriate in my opinion. Worth the tour! the kids will thrive! This is our dream daycare!

I certainly was extra stressed with the process of getting twins acclimated to the daycare environment at 15 months (they were at home with a nanny before this), but everyone from the the teachers and staff and director helped make the process work. They girls have their primary teacher, but are constantly interacting with different groups of kids and teachers and staff. This has been wonderful in getting them accustomed to new people outside of the school environment. They used to be very shy about meeting new people but its a comfortable process being in new places now. The school also helps me as a first time mom with many questions I'll have about different things the kids experience. An added bonus that extends beyond the school environemnt!

I've never met kinder, more honest and genuine people than those two women. My daughter adores them. She recently moved on to a preschool class room and still stops by her old classroom to look for them. She's absolutely loving her new classroom too. She tells us about the songs and crafts she does every night during dinner. Our 6 month old started in the infant 1 room about a month and a half ago and she genuinely gets so excited when she sees her teachers at the door every morning. It's incredible piece of mind for a mom who is afraid to leave her kids. I don't know what we'd do without them all.

I called her to get more clarity & her AD answered . She was coarse, uncaring & just as rude. She said I don't care. Every daycare in town is full. Good Luck finding one. You should have known this before you signed up. I didn't know & their policy should be more transparent about closed days especially if the customers pays for the days. However , it's their business they can make up whatever policy they want. However, their heartless attitude , rudeness & bullying behavior is not okay. They take advantage of mother's stuck with no other availability around town. Kristy also has a two week policy when leaving and she told me my child could not finish the two weeks. She said we are done. Good Luck finding a center. Her policies are in place for her only. I asked on the town's FB page about peoples' experience with PLAY LAUGH & GROW. I got 8 negative messages & one positive one. They complained about the etiquette of owners & AD ; kids getting hurt without an accident report , several more complaints & said stay away from this center . The owner text me how dare you asked the community about my business . I said, " I am a customer. Customers go by word of mouth. " I told her I got several bad messages about her business in a few hours. She text me "If you make a bad review about PLAY LAUGH & GROW I will take you to court and my lawyer demands you to send all the messages I got on FB." Threatening me if I write a bad review is a violating of the Customer Review Fairness Act. A day later , I got a call from a Chester police officer saying Kristy called them seeing if they could advise me not to make a bad review. I am only expressing my honest experience with Kristy DeCesare and Rachel Whiteneck at PLAY , LAUGH & GROW hoping this will give future customers information & the first amendment gives me the right to do so. She had a few nice ladies working there . Unfortunately, one left. This business has too many red flags. I wouldn't recommend it at all. In my opinion, they are focusing solely on the $ and are ignoring the heart and soul of the business; the families . They shouldn't call themselves a preschool simply a daycare. If anyone doubts these communications happened please contact me . I have all of Kristy's text saved & the officer's message. I don't enjoy making a bad review. However, in this case I was morally treated badly & felt obliged to document this in hope this facility will start caring about the way the treat people.
