We tried a number of different contractors and designers. And I think we really tried to make those relationships work. But we never found a connection we could trust or that could really help us through a process of developing creative ideas. That is until we met Libby and Greg Holah! They were very personalized and dedicated in their service that really relaxed all the barriers, allowed the creative juices to flow. In working with them and their assurances they actually made the whole process fun! They always brought wonderful ideas to the table but as well always allowed my wife and me to steer within many options to the choices that made sense for us. And as easy and personable as they were to work with they clearly were both very skilled architects and designers with broad and varied experience that simply helped us made sure we weren't straying down paths that weren't going to work. In the end the results couldn't have been better. We today enjoy an artful and tasteful place (no pun intended) in our house that is an open, central gathering spot for friends, family and memories! Thank you Libby & Greg!

They listened to our ideas, added some cool ideas of their own, and designed a home that we love! Their design kept the 1950's vibe of our home, but updated it with a more modern style. From the basketweave design of the floor in the kitchen to the spa-like feel of the master bath, every touch is perfect. They were a tremendous help at every stage of the remodel. They helped make finish choices, worked with the contractor to keep the project moving, and helped make sure we got everything we asked for and more. We couldn't have done it with them!

We chose him over the other candidates because he had experience with multi-unit residences, his style meshed with ours and we felt as though we'd be able to work with him over the long haul. The city building officials had also worked with him in the past which was a bonus. He's worked with us when revisions were needed and so far we're all still speaking after the year and a half it took to get the completed plans. He's a busy guy so the plans took much longer than we initially expected but we're pleased with the plans we received. There were some big surprises along the way -probably due to our inexperience with this process. When you don't know -that you don't know-you don't ask the right questions. And that's where my only feedback would be: there's no such thing as too much communication. I'm confident Erik will continue to work with us & the city throughout our building project.
