I called Redemption Motorsports because of all the amazing things I have heard about the shop. They got my car in the same day! I then found out that they are an Authorized Mishimoto Dealer and decided that I was just going to replace anything and everything related to my cooling system. They had to order the parts from Mishimoto which only took a few days to get. In the meantime, they kept my car in the shop where it was safe instead of putting it outside like any other shop would do. When they started working on my car they noticed some other things that needed replaced. Paige called me immediately and already had a quote ready. I will put a list of everything I did below. I cannot stress enough how amazing this shop is and how fair they are. They are good honest people who treat you with respect and don't try to take you for everything you have. Honestly when I was there they made me feel like family, what other shop is like that around here??? Took my car in to find out why it wouldn't start after it ran out of gas. They told me it had sugar…read morein the gas because they checked for pH level, which indicated sugar. Internet said sugar does not have a pH value and would not prevent car from starting. There would also be a kettle corn smell when running. I did not believe that since I had a locking gas gap so I checked the gas tank myself and it had water in it from the damaged gas can I used when it ran out of gas. The gas can had mostly water in it instead of gas. Easy fix compared to their $1600 they wanted to fix it. Water does have a pH value.

If they replaced the trans cooler they would have to replace the whole radiator but there is no line for radiator or coolant on this invoice. Basically they are adding stuff to invoices just to turn a profit. Lying about what work they actual are doing. Its nice to know that corporate mechanics are still out there stealing from honest working Americans. Already canceled payment with my credit card, sent photos showing that the radiator was not replaced and the cooler lines were never touched. They will get what's coming to them, will never recommend a place like this again.

My friend later took her car to there and without a mechanic even looking at it the female office manager or receptionist informed my friend it would be over $700 to have it fixed. My friend also got the impression that the women was smug and assumed she couldn't afford it. She obviously just wasn't pleasant to deal with. What I found alarming is that Sears said that a compressor would cost me $200-300. I know replacing the compressor is not that difficult of a job. I took the car to another shop and the whole job cost me $380. The A/C works great and I couldn't be happier. Obviuosly this place is out to rip off customers and I would find another shop to work with. BTW I took the car to Grant's Automotive in Carthage. I am extremely happy with the whole experience.
