The Practice is light and airy and as soon as you walk in you are greeted by a nice friendly welcome smile by the reception team! Also which is good about this practice is that they open from 9.00am-7.00pm which is so good for people that work late or just needs someone to look after the kids for you while you go. I had doctor Maria Marquerie who is just lovely. She is so jolly and bubbly and just makes you feel at ease straight away. I no I've made the right decision to leave james hull dental surgery who were absolute twats. I defiantly will be recommending them to other people. Oh another thing is they accept NHS and private patients!!!

A fantastic practice…read more.. EWA especially for implants. Ewa is phenomenal, with an infectious enthusiasm and dedication at a level that you rarely see in any profession nowadays. She diagnosed problems, and saved me from untold discomfort and pain in the coming years. Ewa has given me several implants, all but one resulted in some discomfort but ZERO pain for the rest of the day. The next day I was not even aware I had an implant. Only one implant resulted in only low level pain that day, and small discomfort the following day. I am NOT a fast healer nowadays, I am 67, so I put it down to the skill of Ewa that so little disturbance to the tissue was the reason for the lack of pain and speed of healing. If you are considering implants, I cannot imagine how you could do better than Ewa. She explains everything and uses the very latest technology to aid her. JITEN her boss, is also an outstanding dentist. Similarly dedicated. If you get on his list you will be very lucky too. I remember having injections on several occasions from him. Most often not even feeling the needle or anasthetic go in, which was weird and a first for me. The Hygenists are good too. Jiten knows how to recruit.

I had been a patient at this practice for years but not had to attend for a while until recently. It was clear when I visited that the majority of the lovely staff that made this a great dentists have left and have been replaced with individuals who lack any people skills or care. Upon the advice of the receptionist when I called up (explaining that I have a poorly baby so makes it difficult to attend) I booked a Saturday appointment and was unfortunately a minute late due to my baby being poorly just before I left. I apologised when I arrived but was told my dentist had already taken another patient in (in a minute!). I tried to convey to the receptionist my situation with my child and ask if there was any other appointments to which I received an extremely unhelpful and rude response and addressing me by the name of another patient! She refused to help me rebook saying she couldn't help me and reduced me to tears. I appreciate it was my own fault I was late, however find it rather unreasonable to take someone else in my place within a minute of not arriving. When my appointment was rebooked, at a time where I would have to bring my baby (and informed them that) they booked me an appointment upstairs with no lift facilities. I had to carry my baby in their car seat along with all their medical items up the stairs! The dentist I saw was extremely rude, he argued with me when I was trying to explain the problem (telling me that I wasn't grinding my teeth when in fact I really was!) and clearly did not want to see me. He was very obviously trying to hurry along the appointment and wasn't really interested in anything I had to say (no doubt as a result of the receptionist saying something before the appointment). When he took an impression of my teeth for a mouth guard he was rather rough with it (I have had mouth guards done before and I've never had anyone be as rough and hard as this) and left mould stuff all around my teeth/mouth and made no effort to clean it off. I asked if there was anything I could do to help the situation to which he talked to me like I was stupid and suggested I just use what he suggested. That would however only address half the problem but he would not listen to my concerns or advise how to improve that. After this I asked to speak to the Manager who agreed that the receptionist should not have treated me the way she did. However I visited not long after this and she was again plain rude. He also agreed the dentist was not in the least bit understanding or sympathetic but should have been. Whilst the manager agreed to talk to him, I did not fancy going back to have him be rough with me again, nor have to tolerate his unnecessary rude and unprofessional behaviour, when all I was trying to do was make sure my teeth were ok. Phoned up a load of dentists only to be told there were waiting lists of two years to register. Eurodental, however had space and booked me an emergency appointment straight away. With some trepidation I attended, as was worried as to why they had space available when all others had not. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had to return for two more appoinments, which were each two weeks on from the initial appointment, however they put me on the emergency list and phoned up later that same day to say I had an appointment for the next day, which I was very impressed with as had expected not to hear from them until appointment day again. Once my new cap was fitted, they made every effort to make it look as natuarl as possible and I am very happy with the result. I have since spoken to many colleagues who, are all also registered with Eurodental and not one of them has had a bad word to say yet.

DO NOT USE this dentist..i was left with ill fitting dentures & a mouth full of infection…read more My last appointment was 22nd December when I had 7 teeth out.he had to dig deep into my gums.i was crying my eyes out.i was in the chair for over an hour & half.i was given a piece of paper with had instructions on & he verbally told me instructions which was the opposite of what was on paper.i wasnt in any fit state to remember anything & no1 made any effort to let my partner know anything who wasnt in the room at that point.he butchered my mouth.i couldnt get any help from doctors even though I was crying & begging for help for antibiotics.they said I need to contact dentist.they was closed for over 2 weeks.i managed to get hold of some antibiotics as they didnt need them.when they finally opened in January I saw him & I told him how much pain I was in & the infection etc & he said there was nothing wrong even though when he dug his finger in what turned out to be ulcers.after being ripped off for over £2000 I ended up going to a decent dentist to which I had to pay out more money.he was disgusted with the state of my mouth & was told ulcers looked very painful & potentially could have turned cancerous.when I contacted Nigel Newton to tell him what I was told he was rude & arrogant.when I told him he should give me a refund he told me to put my dentures (top & bottom) in the sink to which I replied that I wasnt walking out with no teeth.i had partial top dentures & teeth on the bottom. I was also told by new dentist the dentures are temporary until my gums have settled. I am still paying off my credit card from having to pay the butcher. Nigel Newton is a vile, arrogant little man.its now August & I am still struggling & in pain. I cant bite into food so I am having to eat soft food & still have to cut food up so I can eat. I couldnt even eat my xmas dinner.i had the worst xmas & new year ever. I would hate to think of him doing the same to anyone else as the outcome could be a lot worse. Avoid avoid avoid.

Havn't had many fillings as I look after my teeth but those I have had have not been traumatic. There are 3 dentists in total. It is mainly a private practice but fees are not exorbitant and I believe children of patients are seen free of charge. My daughter and grandchildren go there too-the children love their visits. There is a car park just across the road in Clifton Down shopping centre.
