Henleaze Dental Practice seem to have quite a steady main team which puts them in good stead, who cover all aspects of dental work. I hope for your sake you don't need them for nasty big jobs, but if you do then - they can do them! Firstly because the filled tooth was not smoothed off and caused mouth and tongue ulcers and subsequently for pain. After an x-ray my pain was dismissed as of having no cause and I was advised to continue with mouthwash and painkillers. Returning on emergency appointments to see Dr Alan Holland it was identified through scans and investigations that the tooth was suffering from resorption that was now too far advanced to cure. I ended up being referred for an extraction which added additional costs and I will now need a dental implant once this has healed at further cost. Treatment will cost me around £5k once complete. I am very disappointed at the outcome, pain endured and costs and the failure to identify and treat the problem when I originally highlighted it. It can take a long time to get an appointment and then to be booked in for treatment. Reception staff are lovely and very helpful. I found Dr Holland to be the more experienced dentist who correctly identified my problem in the end. Dr Giovarruscio lacks bedside manner and dismissed my concerns too quickly about post operative pain leading to the loss of my tooth.

The Practice is light and airy and as soon as you walk in you are greeted by a nice friendly welcome smile by the reception team! Also which is good about this practice is that they open from 9.00am-7.00pm which is so good for people that work late or just needs someone to look after the kids for you while you go. I had doctor Maria Marquerie who is just lovely. She is so jolly and bubbly and just makes you feel at ease straight away. I no I've made the right decision to leave james hull dental surgery who were absolute twats. I defiantly will be recommending them to other people. Oh another thing is they accept NHS and private patients!!!
