Scheduled for a teeth cleaning for March. 4 MONTHS in advance for a cleaning. I get a text 3 days before my appointment to say my appointment has been canceled because their hygienist left. I asked if no one else could do a simple cleaning and was told maybe someone else could. I didn't even want to hear about scheduling another appointment, to wait for god knows how long and probably be canceled on AGAIN.

I thought I wouldn't be able to get a dentist to see me and if I did they would treat me like a 3rd class citizen since I didn't live there. Instead I was welcomed and in good hands. Dr Nakarmi and Amanda his assistant, and the office staff were outstanding. It happened over a weekend. I thought I would have a hard time getting an appointment the first thing on monday but they fit me in early and the staff was very friendly. They even gave me a welcome gift bag even when I told them I was only there for the winter. Then Amanda, dental assistant, talked to me about my situation and answered all my questions and was also very assuring. Dr Nakarmi very friendly, extremely competent and had me out of the office in less than an hour. Very good experience. Now, seven months later, they are attempting to bill us an additional $375 for charges that were never clearly explained at the time of service. Delayed billing of this nature is frustrating and feels unprofessional. If there were remaining balances, those should have been communicated promptly not many months later. Additionally, our experience with both the hygienist and dentist did not meet our expectations in terms of quality of care. Dentist broke HIPPA and rushed through our exams. We weren't able to provide our own imaging so they could do theirs and charge exorbitant fees which is more than any insurance company is willing to pay. We have insurance covered for 4 visits a year, imaging included. We've never paid anything out of pocket before this visit and have since switched and have never paid anything after. Don't fall for the hype like I did. Transparency, timely billing, and clear communication matter. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Well, Dr. Patel, would not allow me to make my own decisions for my health care. They require you to take x-rays every year! So, I told him, no x-rays for me, he said we cannot keep you as a patient. Dr. Patel will not allow you to pick your own health care. I guess it is better to let your patients walk and not get their teeth clean. He calls this good health care. Dr. Corley had been my dentist for years but recently I saw him for severe pain under a root canal…read morewhich he performed 8 years ago . He said I had an "infection" and put me antibiotics. I asked if I needed to make an appointment for a follow-up. He said no, just to take the antibiotics. The next evening, the whole right side of my face swelled up terribly and I was shaking because of the pain . I called his emergency number but there was no answer so I left a message . That message was not returned . I went to the emergency room and was a minute to the hospital so that I could be given intravenous antibiotics and pain medication and I was on hold for emergency surgery to prevent the abscess from crossing over to my job or brain and to prevent sepsis. I am really surprised that a dentist would be unavailable on his emergency line and not even respond to the message. I also left a message on the next Monday and staff told me he had received the message but they could not make him respond . Dr corley's office is okay if you want your teeth cleaned but you cannot count on him in an emergency.

After a dentist replaced a crown three times because she could not get it right, my gums bleed everyday and I was in extreme pain. She kept telling me the pain would go away. After three months I knew that something was very wrong. I found Dr Corley through a referral. Dr. Corley was able to identify that I had a crack in the tooth next to the crown that was replaced causing sever bleeding and pain. Unfortunately I now needed a root canal. Once he started the root canal he found that my tooth and gums were seriously infected. Had left untreated this could have been a serious health problem. The staff was very compassionate as I have extreme anxiety after having the other dentist replace a crown three times badly and then crack a healthy tooth. Office is modern and practices the best procedures for each patient. I made the poor choice of trusting a dentist after she did a bad job twice. Thanks to Dr. Corley's office my mouth has healed. No need to go anywhere else for dental needs. Love this whole office! I'm so excited that I'm getting my invisible braces off today.
