My daughters were very afraid to go to the dentist but now they absolutely love coming to this office because they can not wait to see Dr Bland. Dr Bland is very patient with his smaller patients who may be scared of Drs and he takes his time to get his patients comfortable and happy. Most importantly he takes the time to get to know his patients and everyone in the family! He comes in with his guitar and sings to his patients and sings with his patients and unlike other Drs he does well in informing everyone what is going on. I was in a temporary from Sept. to Dec. because they had staffing issues and couldn't get me in for my permanent.I was in so much pain. Dr. Panvelker said it was infected. I got a second opinion and Dr. Criser said there was no present infection and that my temporary was not shaved correctly causing my actual tooth to show. I got the gap filled by prestwood and I eventually got my permanent on which made it better but it was still sensitive. Time passed and it ended up becoming painful. They kept wanting to refer me to get a root canal. I went and got a second opinion, found out my whole tooth is split in half. The tooth has to be completely removed. A root canal is not possible. Previously when I would come in due to pain, Dr. Panvelker kept saying "I told you it had the possibility of failing." With her being the professional, I don't know why she would allow the crown to be put on if it was more than likely going to fail. $800+ down the drain not even a year later.

The antibiotics didn't work and I called the office to get more or different. She was off so her partner was asked if she could help me. She refused to prescribe me antibiotics and told me to go to urgent care. With that, I should have found another dentist. Maybe one who actually cares about her patients, but I didn't. When I was financially able to start the denture process I called for an updated quote and made an appointment. I went to the appointment and was told they had no record of that and Dr. Poaps was on maternity leave. The attitude was , oh well. In a medical or dental practice I would think someone who is expecting a child would arrange to have backup. Nothing was done to help me. You want good care, find another dental practice. If you get it here you are lucky.
