When the took the old one out, I had to wait a week for the new one to be glued in, what was the point of the dental impression at all? Just for their files or something, anyways my lower teeth moved, when the new retainer was glued in I was told that the doctor is "no need to check"! Now my upper teeth feel funny because of the movement on the button teeth. My biggest confusion was, why did I wait a week for the impression before getting my new retainer glued in ? Why was it not possible to exchange the whole thing in one visit ?? Now I'm stuck with bite issues for my own money and of course I never got any attention from the actual "doctor"! The doctor took me out of them a little early, which may have been the cause of the problem. Whatever it is, I wear my retainers every single night without fail. I've only been out of my braces a year and already one of my teeth is moving back considerably and a couple on the bottom have moved as well.
