I have been going to this office for years. His staff this morning was rude and argumentative. I explained that I filled out the online form through the "Make Appointment" link. The staff told me there is no such form, then told me three times that I was in Dr. Tremblay's office, did I mean another doctor...Three times I acknowledged that I knew where I was. They said I have to call for an appointment. I asked what the point of the website was, and was told there is no form and if there was that is to request an appointment. I said if I have to call for an appointment, what's the point of the online form if no one checks it and follows-up. Told them I don't need their attitude and told them I would call. Instead of Dr.Barber trying to clam her down she got right in my daughters face and and raised her voice at my daughter telling her to calm down and to stop crying that it did not hurt! This review, however, isn't so much about the care they've provided me, although, I was at their office yesterday for my second annual cleaning and received wonderful care from Laureen, per usual. This review is a shout out to their admin Shawna who was gracious enough to help me sort out some issues with my son's care at a dental office across the state, where he lives part time. I had called to get a couple questions answered about an issue I was running into at the other office. Shawna took it upon herself to call the other office in order to get me some better information so I could move forward with my son's care. She didn't need to help me out; she didn't need to do ANYTHING since my son is not a patient at GFD, but she took time out of her day to help me get my son's appointment across the state more squared away. I'm very thankful for her kindness and GFD's attention to patient/customer service. I wouldn't think of changing providers not only for her help today but also for the friendly care I've received time and time again from Laureen and Dr. Gasior. I let them know again that I didn't think the tooth would last that long, and that my pain was extreme. They still made the referral and swindled me into a teeth cleaning...which I needed, but it just made the pain worse. When I called the "specialist's" office, the receptionist set an appointment for me, but told me I'd need to bring an additional $250 for some "test/assessment" that insurance normally doesn't cover. This is when I knew this was a racket. No resolution on my tooth (which did break completely 24 hours later). Will NEVER go again nor do I recommend. They were nice enough, but did not listen to anything I said, and wanted to sale me cleaning services and refer me to their cohorts for some grift they're doing. Siiiiiiiigh.
