They finished me and let me go but my teeth WERE NOT how I was promised to be. Not only that, I've heard complaints that there equipment is old and outdated, I went to another dental office and they legit criticized this place for the way they do there job. They shaved down my teeth and after getting another opinion that shouldn't have been done and there was another way to fix my teeth that didn't involve shaving them down, now my bottom 4 teeth feel pain whenever I have anything too cold. If I had the money I would sue this place but I don't have the time or money for that. I now am having my braces done at another place, and let me tell you the service is so much different. My appointments are quite literally in and out at my new place, but when I'd come here I'd come 10 minutes before my appointment and they would have me waiting MINIMUM 30 minutes and one time AN HOUR AND 30 MINUTES JUST TO GET INTO THE CHAIR! I know of more than one person who also have problems with this place and I wasn't planning on leaving a review but the other things I've heard are outrageous.

Oh ok guess it wasn't that important if they don't take incoming calls. The next day I arrived at the time we had both confirmed just to be greeted at the front desk that my appointment was canceled cause my insurance did not take my insurance which you would think should have been mentioned 4 months prior. The insurance coordinator tried to explain but it didn't make sense and she couldn't tell me why this wasn't told to me 4 months ago. She only said its wasn't her that made my appointment and didn't want to listen to what I had to said so I walked out as she was still trying to telling I should have answered when she called. Once in the dental chair they tried to convince me to replace an additional 8 perfectly fine teeth! For aesthetics.. this is not a concern for me.. just my 2 that need replacing! The issue with this practice is more in their deceptive billing! The amount that I was quoted was higher than most other dental practices! I had gone to another dentist who advised me that if a dental practice is in your insurance network they are contractually obligated to charge an in-network amount! The office manager here is a relentless deceptive piece of work!! She acknowledged that this is what they are obligated to do, but she would not honor those in-network prices!! And if you choose a payment plan, they charge you differently based on the time frame of payback.. way too many other dentist out there and I wondered how much over billing they charge people who think this dental practice is good because of community word of mouth..

I had never had a good experience with a dentist in my life (maybe because I have a tiny child mouth and I'm always being yelled at to "open wider"...) so, I almost never went to the same one more than a couple times. I was hesitant to start over at another place, but I am so glad I did... On walking in, you can tell everyone loves working there and that they are a family. Dr Greg and Dr Joanne (married couple practice, how nice?) are so sweet they provide their own figurative job security; plus they have gadgets for checking your teeth that I had never heard of (including this thingy you can rest your teeth on that holds my tiny child mouth open for fillings, etc.) and the whole staff is excellent at what they do. In addition to regular cleanings, I had Six-Month-Smiles (quick braces thingies) to re-straighten my teeth before my wedding, so I got to spend more time there than the average patient which allowed me more time to observe the interactions between the hygienists, assistants, techs, doctors, and other patients. They use all the latest equipment. Their hours, including appointments after 5, are very convenient for working folks. They take extra care to reduce any pain. They also seem very trustworthy in providing you with the care you need rather than suggesting extra unnecessary treatments that add up, as I suspect other dentists do. I was not trusting dentists in general before, but I do trust Dearborn Family Dentistry thoroughly based on my experience with them. I can't recommend them enough and I can actually say I'm 100% satisfied with my decision to come here.

She told me I would have temporary teeth before she pulled my teeth she could have told me like the new dentist told me that insurance didn't cover it and allowed me pay out of pocket oppose to being depressed because I'm feeling how I'm looking can't talk to good with no teeth just a terrible situation.
