And unlike some of the other dentists I no longer see, I have never felt that Bruce was "making work." I drive very far to go to Dearborn, but it is worth it for me. Oh I should mention that Bruce's dad started this practice and his brother and Bruce have taken it over. So the office in Dearborn has been around for quite a while.

They use all the latest equipment. Their hours, including appointments after 5, are very convenient for working folks. They take extra care to reduce any pain. They also seem very trustworthy in providing you with the care you need rather than suggesting extra unnecessary treatments that add up, as I suspect other dentists do. I was not trusting dentists in general before, but I do trust Dearborn Family Dentistry thoroughly based on my experience with them. I can't recommend them enough and I can actually say I'm 100% satisfied with my decision to come here.

My previous dentist apparently retired and sold her business to a partner -- without notifying…read morepatients. I found this out by both driving past the office and that voice/emails had a different name attached. I didn't care for this at all. Also, I no longer live near that dentist, so I decided to look for a new one. I found Laurich Dentistry online and checked the reviews, and decided to try it. First of all, the office is bright and cheery. The waiting room is large and inviting. And the staff all seems happy; I heard a lot of laughing while I was there. The second thing is that, instead of old posters, they actually have TWO televisions in the rooms -- one on the wall and one on the ceiling -- so that you can completely relax during the appointment. I don't get nervous at the dentist, but I found this to be very much a patient-centered idea. Third, they were extremely thorough. They took several different kinds of x-rays and 3D images of my teeth. Both the hygienist (whose name I've forgotten, but I believe it starts with an A -- I want to say Aziza?) and Dr. Matt went over with me what they saw. I've never seen my teeth like that before! One of the things that I really appreciated was that the hygienist realized that I have a small mouth, so rather than making me jam the larger x-ray device in my mouth (which has always been uncomfortable in the past), she found a smaller one. I am so glad that I decided to change dentists. I wish I'd started going here sooner.

The dentist seemed kind of rushed and basically told me I needed a crown replaced..felt like I was at the drive thru at MacDonalds at that point. The office staff was great and handed me a "Welcome " gift of some trinkets..which I politely declined as I am at a point in my life that I really don't need more "stuff ". I left the office feeling like I really wasn't comfortable having work done here. Then...I got the bill!!! I have really good insurance and NEVER have had to pay out of pocket for a cleaning and exam. I was shocked to get a bill with a pretty huge balance due. I think my initial gut reaction as I left the office was correct..

This most recent time, after they had called to reschedule me, I show up on time and they tell me I'm not in the system and asked me if I had rescheduled. After they get an answer they call another patient and tell them to come in 30 minutes later this afternoon. Then they tell me they will see me in 30-45 minutes.
