Lets preface this with the obvious fact that no one likes going to the dentist. The sounds, the pain, the awkward open mouth while trying to answer questions about how you brush and how your weekend was.
The first time I went here was for an initial consultation, and standard x-rays since I hadn't had any in a few years. The receptionist isn't the most inviting person in Holland, but the dental hygienist and other staff are nice enough.
It's clean, in a great location, and I'm always in and out in 20 minutes. Just went for a cleaning and while my dentists wasn't as gentle as I would have preferred, I think it's more a cultural thing, re: using flat-sided toothpicks until your gums bleed is apparently better than flossing! Who knew? Also, I'm used to rinsing and spitting, and this is more of a suction tool place. Was super strange for me, but I guess I'm just used to American dentists. read more
