He spent several hours carefully working on both the rear quarter panel damage and an additional front dent, and the improvement was significant. The rear door now closes properly again, the panel alignment is dramatically better, the rear bumper is finally sitting back in place properly again, and the car overall looks much more presentable than before. What stood out most to me though was Anthony's character. He knew I was dealing with a difficult financial and insurance situation and still went above and beyond to help me out on pricing while putting a tremendous amount of time and effort into the work. That level of honesty, compassion, and craftsmanship is rare these days. Anthony is clearly someone who takes pride in his craft and genuinely cares about people. I requested a quote for repair of a bunch of rock chips on the front fender of my car. We met, discussed the plan to fill in the chips with paint, and I understood it wasn't going to look perfect by any means, but seemed like the color would at least be a close match again. Literally 30 minutes later I got a call the job was done and came out to what looked like grayish White Out had been quickly dabbed onto each of the rock chips. I was kind of shocked at how it looked and asked what else could be done to which he basically replied "this color is really hard to match so I can sand/paint the whole front bumper, but it still won't match the rest of the car" so didn't really seem like a solution at all. A few things. I understand there are material costs of doing the job, but for 30 minutes of labor and a poor outcome I think $400 was nuts even though this was cheaper than other quotes. If the color of my car (stock Lexus pearl white) was too difficult to match, he could've just said so before putting paint on my car. Again, if the number of rock chips was too many to fix, I wish he would've just said that before beginning or after the first one. Lastly, I was just very annoyed with the offered "solution". Tony was a really nice guy and I do feel like I went into this with realistic expectations, but now my $60k car looks like it has grayish chicken pox all over the front and I'm pretty angry. Just want to leave this here so anyone else in a similar situation can take a look at the close-up and set appropriate expectations before proceeding.

Tony quoted a reasonable estimate and suggested to fix the existing bumper. When he finally arrived to fix the car he kept the original estimate and did the body repair in just a few hours. I had a deep crease on the hood of my 2019 M4 thanks to someone kicking up a big rock on I-880. It…read morewas a challenging dent to work with because it was on an aluminum piece and positioned above a structural member that made it difficult to get underneath. Sal spent 5 hours working on that dent and he got probably 98% of it out. Now, you have to know where to look before you can see it. Because of the awkward position of the dent, he had to scuff some structural pieces below the hood to get his tools to reach the area. However, he managed to confine the damage to an area covered by a rubber stop. Once the rubber piece was reinstalled, there is no longer any visible evidence of damage. Amazing. The work done caused a small amount of stretching and marring on the Xpel PPF on the hood. I'm hoping that the material will heal over time as it tends to do. In any case, it's very minor. Sal used suction cups to attach his tools and lights to the hood, and it left marks on the PPF. A bit of polishing compound got it right out, but maybe next time he might want to avoid putting suction cups on PPF. Sal is not cheap, but he is GOOD. It's obvious that he's a craftsman who is proud of his work. Recommended.
