So I ordered breakfast online. I ordered it on the official Denny's website. I specifically in the notes said no mushrooms as I am allergic to them. I have previously ordered on the same official Denny's website with no issues. Lo and behold I'm eating, and there's mushrooms and I immediately start itching all over. I call the specific Denny's and the regional manager calls me back. When I tell him I want a refund, he tells me I have to take it up with the online ordering system. Are you kidding me. So begins a tale of two Denny's: one in North Las Vegas, Nevada and one in Redlands, California. This Denny's was out of the Turkey Dinner I wanted for my dinner, and even out of crackers for my ordered Chicken Noodle Soup with thick noodles, which was too salty in any event. The Bourbon Chicken Skillet I ultimately ordered in place of a Turkey Dinner was brought to my table on top of the soup, but at least it was very heat hot, and tasted good. Diane had better luck with her ordered Scrambled Eggs with Cheese, Crispy Hash Browns, and Cinnamon Apple Crisp Pancakes that were ultimately taken home for another meal. Just XX-1/2 stars overall this time around because of missing food, and table service that telescoped one dish on top of another. read more

I hate for my day to start off on the wrong foot, especially when breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day. To be completely honest, I judge servers the same way they judge their patrons. Right off the bat, I ordered two drinks because I already knew the server probably wouldn't be coming back around much. The food itself was great, so big salute to the cooks in the back. They did their part. But our server? He disappeared. We needed a to go box and, just as I expected, after the food was dropped off we never saw him again. I had to ask another server for help just to wrap things up. Ordered on door dash cause my daughter wanted to try some things. The pancakes and sausage were good. The brisket sandwich, just don't do it. It was like an omelet with chunks of brisket that were hard. No. The burger we got wasn't too good either. If you're going to try it, stick to pancakes & eggs. Also, the tables by the doors, I overheard the waitress telling customers they couldn't sit there because too many people walked out. They were an older pair, so they were like? My husband and I ordered the value meal breakfast slam. Two eggs over medium, 2 sausage for me ( 2 extra crispy bacon for him, and 2 well done pancakes and hot pancake syrup. Exact same meal we ordered 2 weeks ago. When the waitress brought our food she only brought one pancake and said they were still cooking my husband's pancake and she would bring it back. I said , "don't forget the hot pancake syrup". She replied that they don't warm syrup anymore and I said we just had it here 2 weeks ago and several times before that. Her response was "our manager told us not to warm the syrup anymore". I told her to take my order back and credit me for it. If it was no longer available then that message should have been given when I ordered it so that I may order something else or go elsewhere to dine. Customer service and attitude begin at the top with management. When we paid for my husband's meal at the cash register, I asked to see the manager and I was told that the manager was in the kitchen helping to cook. I told the cashier my problem and she said there is another manager that allows the hot syrup and the one there today does not. She offered us a 30% off coupon for our next time. I told her that is not necessary as there will be no next time. There are other places that are happy to warm the syrup for a customer. Nothing gets cold quicker than a pancake or a waffle. Flew into Vegas from LA on 9-18-25. Flight was delayed. Sat in the plane for 3+hours due to a ground stop. Was not a happy camper. A 3:35pm arrival turned into a 8:45pm arrival. After baggage and car pick up, it was almost 10pm. Denny's was the only place open that late. I'm not normally a fan of late night diners. Upon arrival, our server, Fabby, greeted and sat us. She was very pleasant. She promptly took our drink order, and brought menus. Both, the parking lot and interior, were cleaning and well lit. There were five of us, so she left us to look at the menu. When she returned, she was patient while some of us were still reviewing the menu. We ordered from the saver menu. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The food was hot and made as ordered. My burger was perfect. The fries were crispy. Fabby made a difficult day more bearable. She was very professional. She checked if we were doing good with our meals, and kept our drinks filled. When we paid our bill, she smiled and thanked us. Tables before us were sending their food back because the order was wrong and too salty. We finally got our order of a grey colored steak, burnt onion rings and watery Mac n cheese. This particular Denny's is probably the best operated and customer friendly Denny's that I have ever patronized. Kristine, the general manager, always displays incredible team building skills with her staff. She cares about them. You can see how this has translated into several of her staff, including Alex, Salvador, Danny, etc., having worked here for years. This feeling of family and care have led to the majority of their business being regulars, who come in because they really value the entire staff, feel at home, and know they are going to get excellent quality service and food for the price. I have gone here three times in the last month. First visit: One front of house and one back of house staff. The first time was a week before Thanksgiving and we waited about 20 min to get our orders in, we Got seated quickly but the host/waiter was alone and was stressed out . There were 4 of us , 2 adults and 2 kids and we wanted to take advantage of the kids eat free promo. I ordered the turkey dinner plate. The kids had ordered from kids menu. The food was warm but we had to wait almost An hour for it. I wish I had cranberry, what they gave me was like a teaspoonful. We didn't get refills and couldn't ask for help the guy was overwhelmed. Second visit : 2 days after Thanksgiving Same issue: only one front of house and one back of house , 2 people working in a restaurant that seats probably 100 people. Food came cold, and didn't get any drink refills because server was overwhelmed. Third visit : 12/11/23 One front of house and one back of house Full place, we got seated just like everyone else was but no food. No ones order was being taken. We watched 4 tables leave got tired of waiting with their families to place order. The poor server kept apologizing she's alone and it will take her a few minutes. You had people waiting for Their checks and people waiting at front to get seated. Time of day: 6pm Food came cold, and soggy. I waited so long for my food I had time to search who was the manager for this location. There's never any management present. And those two workers that manages to show up are Overwhelmed. Poor management of staff, yall need to hire a bunch of people to serve the community especially when you're targeting families with your promos ! Make sure you have enough staff to handle the dinner rush hours !! We live close by and we like to dine at dennys but it seems like the focus needs to be off the last who owns over 70 locations and ceos and need to start focusing on hiring staff!
