Several of our neighbors recommended Paul Mapes, aka The Tree Dr. Paul worked well with us, came out twice to inspect the trees and finalize 2 quotes - a wish list and minimum package, both were reasonable and better than the other companies we contacted. Due to the weather, the job took about two weeks, and throughout that time communication with Paul was great! We always knew when he was going to be here and what the plan was. The whole team was diligent and very careful to avoid causing damage to our home, fence, grass, and swings. As you can see from the pictures at the below link a good part of the yard was filled with large roots from many of the trees, they did an excellent job removing all those roots. We are grateful to Paul and his team for a job well done, and recommend them to anyone who needs tree work. We certainly will be using them again in the future. Had three enormous maple trees, badly placed and threatening to fall on both our house and the neighbors house, these trees were taller than our two story house. Right up next to the neighbors fence and one between the fence and our shed. They had started to get rotten areas from stress fractures and one might have had lightning damage as well. Joe and his crew got them down without damaging any of the buildings or fence, within a day. Prices were extremely reasonable if not cheap for the work involved. Would use them again and recommend them without hesitation. read more
