The Tim Clark Band

We all sat in shock from his actions; wondering if the event was over hours before it should be; but after many attempts to calm this guy down, he finally got back up on the stage, and from there, he announced several times that he wasn't sorry for his actions, he'd already been paid upfront anyways, so he wouldn't be apologizing for his behavior, then he played music opposite of what was requested of him to be played and he made rude comments to the crowd for the remainder of his time there. Now, just to be clear, this is the Tim Clark band in South Carolina, and my recommendation is that you pass this group on by. Do not hire them. Hire a group who can act like grown ups, play for their crowd and show some class.

During his breakdown, he bragged about being an "entertainer" and not a DJ who would play what the group wanted, however he was anything but an entertainer. The rest of the band had talent and if they know what is good for them, they will all quit the band and start a new band with a mature professional front man. I will never waste my time ever going to an event where they are playing and hope that this review will forewarn anyone that is considering hiring the Tim Clark Band for an event. If Tim Clark wants to begin the process of redemption, he will return the check he was paid for last night's event, seek counseling, and get some pants that fit.

For numerous years, we have visited the Myrtle Beach area to enjoy the annual Christmas Shows. We…read morehad always loved taking our parents and grandchildren to Alabama Theatre and to Carolina Opry. Sadly, our parents have been long gone and the grandchildren are now grown and out on their own. However, just my hubby and I still made the long drive to Myrtle Beach again. We found out that Greg Rowles now had a show of his own and a new theatre-- The Legacy Theatre. AND we read that the Greg Rowles show had one of the highest ratings of all shows in the Myrtle Beach area! Amazingly, although they were rated the best, they offered greatly reduced ticket prices for all newcomers... which was great! We showed up almost an hour early not knowing the time we would need to get through Myrtle Beach traffic. Once in the lobby, we saw the employees form a large circle. They were all holding hands -- when they invited us to join them. Then they brought up individuals who were sick, or ill, or just needing prayer, Mr Rowles led them in prayer. They prayed for their show and all of their attendees. Mr Rowles offered words of encouragement and thanks to his employees. It was a very moving experience. Before being seated we were able to purchase delicious, freshly baked cookies (sold in individual cellophane bags), freshly made coffee and amazing hot chocolate from the refreshment center. Everyone on the team felt like they were our long gone family members. Watching the show, I found myself laughing, crying, praising God and oh, so grateful that we could hear AND see the talented singers and band members. Visiting the souvenir shop at half time we were able to buy a Christmas Ornament. We asked one of the employees if we could move up from the far end of the third row to two empty seats on the first row. She told me she almost came and got us to offer us the opportunity to move up. It seemed as if every employee on this team really does care about making one's visit memorable. After the unforgettable show, there was a long line of people wanting a photo with Greg, including me and my husband. There was an older woman, all by herself, who shared how much she had wanted a photo with Greg, but had something wrong with her leg and could not get up the stairs to the stage without railing. My sweet hubby helped her up and back down. Seeing how thrilled she was with her photo made us both happy. It seems everyone in attendance left with an even bigger heart of gratitude and concern for others. Yes, we thought we would just enjoy a wonderful Christmas show. . . but instead we got... A TASTE OF HEAVEN!!

Margo and David were great as far as being on time, and planning the wedding all together. We…read more definitely paid the price of two officiants which was fine with us we just wanted a great wedding! The reason why they only get two stars is because we had a same sex marriage and on our phone conference going over all the parts of the wedding in detail we were promised it would be how we wrote it. However, during the wedding words were changed around, things were added, and we felt uncomfortable and disappointed at our own wedding when it was not supposed to be that way. He gave the option for family members to speak and say something during the sand ceremony and that was not planned at all. David also messed the biggest part up and instead of saying "Mrs and Mrs" he said "Mr. and Mrs." And we stressed to them that this was important to us. The reason why we are so upset is because that is on all of the recordings because he did not prepare. They were friendly but the officiate needs to practice and think about how important someone's wedding day is to them especially a same sex wedding.

Hiring this photographer for my beach wedding photos was indeed the worst decision I've ever made…read more What started as a warm and friendly experience, turned into an absolute nightmare for our family. The photographer (Margo Sears) apparently cannot handle rejection or when a client is not satisfied with her work. Instead of treating a complaint professionally and courteously, she resorts to disrespect, insults and taking personal shots at the client. Please take a moment to read my story. I can tell you; this photographer is not at all who she initially portrayed her to be. The photo session took place on the evening of Sunday, July 30th, 2017 at Sunset Beach, NC which included me, my husband, our eight-year-old daughter, and my mom. Sometime after our photo session, I received an email from Margo informing me that the balance was paid in full (We paid a total of $354 which included an enhancement add-on) and the photos were being shipped to us on a flash drive. She also stated we could preview a few of the pics on their Facebook page. However, we were not happy with the preview photos we saw because they were not flattering and the quality was lower than expected, so I emailed Margo back "Hi Margo, I'm not happy with the photos. Can you please take them down from facebook? " She responded " I am very sorry. They are gone from Facebook now. There are over 100 pics on this flashdrive so maybe there are many others you will like instead. I thought you looked lovely in these, especially in the difficult conditions we had of very low light and crowded beach. But if the problem is one I can fix, please let me know. Otherwise, blessings to you. Warm sand, Margo" After we received the flashdrive with the photos, I extended an olive branch, I sent an email that I happy with some of the pics from the flashdrive and I would send a list of ones to add to their site. "--- Margo's next and last response to me took us all by total surprise.. Due to the character limit I cannot post the full thread. "Hey, I am very glad you like them now. Don't send me anything--the posting on Facebook was a preview for your benefit only. Since you have all pics now, we don't need a preview anymore, dear. It's all good now. Honest moment now, woman to woman, Latoya. I just want to give you a heads up that as a professional, I took your rejection of my photos very seriously. It upset me a great deal and I worked extra hard on this project. Now you say there wasn't anything wrong with those pics after all. While I am glad that's the case, I do feel jerked around, sad, and under-appreciated. I did more than most photographers would because I am nice, and your daughter and mom were also awesome. Now, I am truly sorry if my words upset you, but that isn't my point-- Please be very careful what you reject or say negative to her as time goes by.... . I'm a grown woman, older than you, and you hurt my feelings without meaning to....-- My response - Hi Margo, Reading your email, I am truly in shock however not too surprised. You call yourself a "professional" and a "follower of God," however sending such a nasty, judgemental and rude response to a client (human being for that matter) who has paid for your services is nowhere near professional or Godlike. I'm not sure what your end goal was here, but if it was for me to lose respect for you as a person, and regret using your services at all, then I guess you have succeeded...."-- We are discussing legal options as we were not going to promote this business after such an awful experience. My husband has said that it is sad that he is defending this country for individuals of her character. I've posted my review on the WeddingWire.com and The Knot. She disputed my initial review on WeddingWire, and I had to redo it. She also responded to my review on The Knot. However, Margo's response is under investigation for inappropriate content. Please Be Aware.

Legends has always been one of our favorites because it's consistently one of the better shows to enjoy in the area. Some type of an Elvis impersonator and Blues Brother act is ALWAYS present in any Legends lineup...and the lineup you see really does matter. This is why sometimes a Legends lineup is EPIC, while sometimes it's just "meh." That's the risk you run with Legends. On this most recent visit (my first since their relocation to their current location) we had a really strong lineup that included the Blues Brother, Alan Jackson, Steve Perry, Michael Jackson, and a 68 special leather suit Elvis . I will say, this was the first time I realized that the musicians aren't actually playing live music but merely pantomiming to a recorded track...it became very entertaining after realizing that to watch how some of them really got into their role. The best example of this was Mario on the keyboards. That man was fake playing that keyboard like his life depended on it and like he was having the best day of life...he was honestly more entertaining than some of the lead entertainers...whatever Legends is paying him they need to give him a raise! If you're in Myrtle Beach and looking for a fun way to pass the evening Legends is usually a safe bet!

The toilet had urine all over the backside, and there was no toilet paper! Our problems only started there after I opened the guitar case up and the guy Bob working the register was overreacting negatively on the condition of the guitar. It needed to be restrung and was missing a pin but otherwise the guitar was in great shape being over a decade old. He was acting like the guitar was banged up. The body and neck of the guitar have 0 damage and tuner worked fine. A coworker remarked that he had a pin laying around for it and it's a guitar shop so getting strings in bulk prices doesn't seem like a good reason to give me such a big lowball offer. He stated a reverb price he saw that I cannot find for the life of me but can easily find my same guitar for 200 more than he found it for and that's for a used condition. I saw 799 mint condition, 600 used. I got offered 200. I only expected to get 40-50% of the guitars value and I might have sold the guitar just to get it off my hands but his demeanor ended up being the reason why we couldn't bear to sell it to guitar center. He made negative remarks about his other coworkers to us for some reason. Needs a new job. Honestly I wouldn't consider even shopping there again.

The staff are super helpful and friendly. I just needed a stand for my Theremin and almost walked out with a new Moog Synth and Theremin. Also, I needed one tuning key for my Telecaster. Brandon the manager gave me one out of the back instead of up selling me a set of 6. I could have bought a single one on eBay for like $8, but he just gave me one. That's why I'll be back often and spend more money. I'm a terrible musician but with practice and the right gear, 2024 might be my year.
