The staff, to a person, is outstanding - office staff, nurses and technicians. They greet you every day with a smile on their face and a genuine feeling of being glad to see you. Over the weeks I sat in the waiting room with people who got to know each other and talked about their hobbies and families. We would laugh and tell jokes. I sometimes sat in wonder as I reminded myself we all had one thing in common - everyone there had cancer or was with someone who had cancer. The fact we were able to do this was due to the culture of the staff and the care they provided. If you become a patient you will quickly learn about "the bell." A simple ritual that we all celebrated on behalf of each other and ourselves when the time came to finish treatment. I know of no other place that is so patient focused that they have instituted such a ritual as part of their care. Simple but very meaningful. I trusted this group of people with an important part of my health care like I have trusted no other.

Whichever oncologist is currently available, that's who you'll get. Unbelievable! Shoving medications down your throat whether you really need them or not. Failure to inform particularly vulnerable patients about side effects they are likely to endure. Insisting on trying to fill prescriptions through their own pharmacy, costing hundreds or thousands of dollars, bypassing cheaper pharmacies. When my own insurance company preapproved payment through their own in-house pharmacy, these greedy jerks kept calling me, telling me they were going to fill my prescriptions at outrageous prices. Again, unbelievable! P.S. it's been my experience that any reviews filled with mostly five star and one star are very suspect. That usually means real people are angry, giving one star reviews, so the organizations try to balance that anger by posting fake five star reviews. How else to explain people who hate them, along with people who claim they are perfect?

All Women, Dr. James Wilder understands whatever you're going through. If I could give Dr Wilder 15…read moreStars I would. I want to speak to my Black women, indigenous and women of color whose pain is frequently ignored. Dr. Wilder will not ignore you! Please make an appointment, and make sure your insurance covers His office. This man has changed my life, and the pain it was in. Its very hard for a black woman, or a woman of color to find a doctor that will listen to their grievance about pain, or major symptoms that would be heard if they were anyone else. I have been dealing with my primary care doctor for more than two years about the amount of blood loss during my regular cycle. The loss was getting to a point of me not being able to stand straight up on the second day of my cycle. Bleeding through three bags of sanitary napkins by the third day. If you understand this, then you understand the amount of pain that comes along with it. Debilitating!! My doctor should have sent me to Doctor James Wilder months ago, but she did not. I spent allot of copayments moving in my primary care doctor's direction. I was forced to go to an emergency room because of the amount of blood I was losing, and the pain I was in which was more than my body can deal with. The Doctor referred me to Dr. K Cuen, and she sent me straight to Dr. James Wilder. This all happened within a week. The fibroid tumors were so large, and hard you can feel them by touching my stomach, yet my doctor did not listen. I saw Dr. Wilder on a Friday and he had me scheduled for surgery on the following Tuesday. (This is how serious it was) A hysterectomy was necessary. The Fibroids tumor in my uterus ended up being 5lbs, and Dr. Wilder had to cut me down the middle to remove everything he needed to. My scar is beautiful because my emotional health had started to suffer year two of bleeding to death, and pain beyond anything I can maintain. Its sleek, and down the middle, and I know in a few months there will be no pain, and he listened to me! He heard me, and he followed his instinct. He felt the fibroids, he didn't just have me rescheduled. Dr James Wilder talked to me for about 20 minutes before he started the exam!! Have you ever heard of that?? AMAZING!! I'm the second week out of my surgery and I'm just so grateful that I was referred to Dr James Wilder. My Favorite habit from James Wilder: He comes in the room, shakes your hand, looks you in the eye, and asks "how you are doing". Freaking Old School Amazing! Dr. Wilder has a Nurse that is the Robbin to his Batman. Michelle Williams has been a southern peace I can't explain. I have called and asked a bunch of questions, sometimes not even saying my name. She answered in the core of their values each time. Stop looking, this is the place. Go here!! I almost crying thinking about everything but please understand how long I've been in pain. My life will be different now. No more bleeding until I can't stand. Thank Goodness! Women of all shades this is the Doctor, and nurse combination you knew you always needed. When he comes in the room Extended's his hand, and looks you in the eye, and smiles. You will understand you're in the right place. Thank you, Dr. James Wilder, and Michelle Williams .
