It's an essential community resource and a green alternative to constant consumption. The librarians are extremely helpful and willing to order materials that aren't presently available in the branch. Interlibrary loan is my personal favorite. They also have a really adorable program that allows children to practice reading to dogs. I also believe that through the Friends of the Library program, those who are housebound can have books and dvds delivered to them. Lastly, the library advertises a lot of free, educational events. I think this library system has a unique charm.

No matter if people have the internet to look up information, we still need our libraries! They have classes and story reading for children to name a few. If we don't appreciate our libraries, budgets could be cut and that would be a terrible shame. Reading a good book is one of the best things you can do!

I went there on a Saturday and it was the same quiet, peaceful place it's always been. You can get so much work (or studying) done there, especially with the free and speedy wifi. They have comfortable chairs, outlets for your electronics, and clean bathrooms. They also have a separate children's room. And the view is nice also, and it's completely free! The nicest library I've ever been to. The kids section is huge and has tons of toys in addition to…read morebooks. The kids programs are incredible. Every week they have things for the kids to attend. The library also serves as a community center where people can meet to work on a puzzle together or have a book club and the local homeless also are welcome to hang out and pick up some free toiletries and things like that. Certain things at the school are nice, but some of the professors are TERRIBLE. Few things number…read moreone, they grade where they are not supposed to, 2 they grade things at the end so you would not even know if your passing or not, 3 it could be the most difficult subject and they are flying with the lesson so that you can literally fail the class or exams. 4 some give homework and it's not even graded. Another issue is the required books, most of the professors are not prepared if they require a book for the class from the bookstore. Leaving the students having to guess if the book that is already available is the actual correct one; which in most cases it is not. Another issue is the limited options to pick your classes, one it's ether they are always clashing with other classes; leaving you with having no idea what to do; or 2 having to ask and wait to see if they open more spots every time. Another issue is food, the food is not what you expect it to be, it's always bland. They go all out during orientation and acceptance students day, but once you are committed it's completely different and you will most likely eat the same thing over and over again. Another concern is the dorms, some rooms have mold in them and they don't even try to Clean it. All I got to say is yes the school is peaceful, safe, quiet, and clean, but on the other hand, with certain professors and just asking for help is such a big issue, etc.
