Used to be great! When there for almost 2 decades! Not so much now. Messed up my daughter 2 years…read morein a row. Last year delayed filing. When she called to make this year's appointment, it was discovered that they (Chans) had received a check for my daughter last year that she was never informed of and was just put in her file. Don't know why it was sent there since the return was filed electronically. This year my daughter filed in early March. At the end of March she called Chans to see why nothing was showing on IRS site for her. They delayed filing AGAIN! It's now May and when she called Chans for help/advice she was given the public IRS number you can get online, and told she was on her own, but that Chans had already gotten their money for filing her return. No help, no concern. They also completely lost my grandsons return, which being a very young inexperienced guy, he can not now find, and of course there is info that he needs for this year. What kind of service completely loses that info! They seem to be completely unconcerned and disinterested.

My husband and I had our taxes done here by Carolyn and a month or two later, we get a letter from…read morethe IRS telling us that we owe them over $2,000 which of course was surprising to us so we reached out and was told we would get an answer within 48 hours as to why this is happening and here we are over a week later with multiple phone calls and never being able to talk to the person who actually did our taxes. The woman who claims to be the office manager refuses to give her your name and then she has a habit of hanging up on you because she doesn't want to answer your tough questions as to why you pay to service to do your taxes and now you owe the IRS and you can't seem to get an answer and you can't even get the woman to call you back who did your taxes because she's always with clients that she's trying to take more money from. This is such a shady place that uses excuse after excuse because they don't even know how to answer the issues at hand instead of just being honest and maybe people would respect them more. I would never do my taxes here again and if you care about your taxes being done the right way without the IRS knocking at your door, go somewhere else.
