We never make it out to Lantern Hill so we didn't know it was there. What a pleasant surprise! The first worker we saw was Madeline. She was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have a great selection and the prices are about the same as any other garden center in our area. Their mums are healthy and beautiful. The trees, shrubs, kale, cabbage, flowers, etc. are all very well cared for. They have a small animal farm with chickens, goats, and a friendly dog named Louie. Our experience here was great and we would highly recommend Stonington Gardens on Lantern Hill Road.

There are signs explicitly saying, "No parking on this side of the street". Our garbage truck could barely get by and couldn't use their lift for the cans. My vehicle was side swiped because of this hogging up of the street and now, I have an indent on the side. I went outside and asked the woman if she was the owner and told her there are signs stating "no parking on this side of the street" and that my vehicle was hit. All she said was "why didn't you say something earlier and that I was harassing her." I just walked away and told her I was calling the was the police. What goes around comes around and I hope this company gets theirs.

As a homeowner I was very impressed by this couple, Dan and Jennifer, and their business. I found…read morethem through an advertisement on the app, NextDoor and they got back to me immediately and worked within my needs.They showed up on time with multiple options for me which weren't outrageous in cost but due to the timing of the year I had to go with the option that would best hold me over throughout the winter until spring. Which honestly gave me a chance to witness their work and determine if I wanted to hire them for the larger project in the spring, which I definitely am doing. The weather was giving us some problems but I appreciated Jennifer's honesty. She told me upfront that although most of the glue should hold the stones she wanted to be sure so she came back in a few days to check on it and fix anything that wasn't perfect. She did just that and she did it free of charge and an all around excellent job. All in all they are a fabulous team and I will let ya'll know how the project comes out in the Spring. Which is cobblestone edging around the walkway rather than having to glue it every year. It is now the middle of winter and the stones haven't moved.
