This review focuses more on the campgrounds. There are tons of campgrounds in the area, but this is a great option! The sites are large and spread apart. There are no tent pads but there is plenty of room to set up all your stuff. Each site includes a picnic table and campfire ring. There are no bear concerns so you don't have to take as many precautions. You can also head straight into the gorge from some of the campsites. The bathrooms have lights, water, flush toilets, and showers. They were very clean while we were there and spacious. There's also plenty of dumpsters for trash. You can purchase firewood at the registration office, where they also have maps, guides, and useful info. It's a great local camping option.

It has spectacular…read morenatural attractions of waterfalls, and a lake front on the other side of the road The Gorge Trail to the waterfall is very easy to access. I visited in the winter to see the falls frozen over, and the park rangers had done an excellent job keeping the trail well maintained. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the waterfall, and there's very little elevation change along the way. North Rim trail entrance was close during winter due to ice and snow. But you can skip the dangerous part of the trail by parking at the Taughannock Falls overlook point and start hiking from there. Then you will reach the upper falls. Parking is only $10. lot is small so warmer weather probably will fill up pretty quickly.

I thought it was a fairly easy 1 mile hike out to the falls (though my coworker vehemently disagrees that 1 mile and easy belong in the same sentence - sorry Miss Sheila!), and there were some falcons swooping around. There is a fee to park, but were still spots remaining when we arrived. We should have received discounted parking with a Military ID, but the booth was unmanned that day, so we paid anyway. There is a restroom facility at the parking lot, and it wasn't bad. I actually think it was heated, so that was nice. I'd be interested in seeing the falls and hiking the upper trail when the weather is better!

Well if that's what you are picturing then walking up to this place will feel like stepping into a dream. The tree house itself is incredible full of pure imagination and uniqueness. From a real old car, to a princess castle to a wizard's den, to a real single person airplane that used to fly in the sky this tree house has something for everyone. The people that imagined and made this thing are incredible. They are happy to share their story, their plans, and their backyard with everyone. It is definitely worth it to spend some time checking out their tree house and hearing their story. The tree house is built in their backyard so visit their facebook page to see the dates and times that they are inviting people to come. They are quick to message you back via facebook as well. They invite people freely into their house Young, old, young at heart, this place provides a great escape from reality and a fun place to spend some time. Boating, jet skis, kayaking, paddle board, or just soaking up the sun. Bring your own there is no place to rent. If you're lucky you might find some lake glass. My dog and I came here for a walk today (Memorial Day) and the place was almost empty! It's not a huge park, but it's clean and well maintained. There's a small boat launch / marina area, plenty of walkable beach, a playground, picnic tables sporadically placed throughout the park, a pavilion, and restrooms. There's a nicely sized parking area as well. Also, since it's a NYS Park, it's part of the Empire Pass program... so with one of the passes, you'll get in at no additional cost (otherwise, it's $7 per car). TL;DR I'd recommend this park, but honestly... I want it all to myself. So stay out. ;-)
