When selling the first we worked with two other realtors before coming back to Hoeting. I always feel like the realtors at Hoeting make a point of creating a personal relationship with their clients. I never felt like a commission, or a number in a spreadsheet, like I did with the other realtors we dealt with. I've also noticed that Hoeting is really gung-ho about open houses. During the winter, most realtors stop doing open houses, but not Hoeting. They'll keep working on selling your house, no matter what the season. When it came to buying a house, our realtor took the time to understand exactly what we wanted. Here's a tip, trust your realtor to find good houses. Every time we brought a house to her, it turned out to be a disastrous fit. She knew what we wanted better than we did! One issue I had with Hoeting is that their communication setup is not very streamlined. Larger realtors have a central staff that deals with booking showings and open houses. This made it really easy to deal with setting up showings and knowing exactly what's happening. With Hoeting, I would have to call my realtor directly and she would pass the info along to the necessary people. On the one hand, that's personal service, but on the other, she wasn't always available right when I needed her. With that said, there were times when we had to schedule meetings at odd hours and she was always willing to bend over backwards to make it work for us. Including coming to our house at 9:30pm to answer our questions about an addendum! That flexibility was a life-saver!
