Door de 8 krachten van virtuoos onderwijs op al ons werk van toepassing te laten zijn, zorgen we voor florerende leerlingen. Samen met gemeenten en andere partners, zoals welzijnsorganisaties, voeren we allerlei maatschappelijke trajecten met een link naar het onderwijs uit. Zo dragen we bij aan de bloeiende metropool. Onze werkwijze Of je nu een ouder bent met een vraagstuk rond je kind, of een directeur die aan de gang wil gaan met de school: altijd gaan we met jou het gesprek aan over wat je wilt bereiken en hoe we daar kunnen komen. We maken daarbij gebruik van alle kennis en inzichten die we in de afgelopen jaren hebben vergaard en ontwikkeld, en bekijken hoe we die op jouw specifieke vraag kunnen inzetten. Samenwerking Samenwerking staat bij ons hoog in het vaandel. We werken intensief samen met universiteiten en hogescholen om kennis te ontwikkelen. We staan in nauw contact met maatschappelijke organisaties op het gebied van jeugdzorg, nieuwkomers etc. Telkens kijken we hoe we samen betere resultaten kunnen realiseren voor kinderen. This is a fantastic festival!…read more The entire city center becomes the host of this documentary festival. The important documentaries of each year are part of the program. The movies are from many different countries and address many different topics, in different formats, really, there is something for every taste: from the full-length sensible documentary, to the most light-hearted short film. The only thing I can regret is that it has become a victim of its success, and it's now difficult to get tickets for the good movies, you really need to buy them weeks in advance. Well, now you and I know it for next year!

There are also panel discussions, happy hours, a film market, and other events. The films are shown at theaters in central Amsterdam such as the amazing art-deco Tuschinski cinema as well as the Pathe Munt nearby. The people of Amsterdam are very welcoming and are great hosts for the people who visit the IDFA each year. Worth the journey if you are into documentaries!

Its volunteers and its fleet of ships patrol the worlds oceans to protect different species such as the Vaquita in the Sea of Cortez and to stop Japanese whaling, turtles, ect. Each purchase helps support the worldwide effort. The gift shop has lots of t-shirts, hats, belts, bandana's, posters, etc. If I could give this organization 10 stars I would! It is worth a stop in while in Amsterdam!!
