It was horrible weather outside and we at the time were experiencing a blizzard. I parked the car and headed in, and asked if I could get a haircut. The girl working there said she couldn't because of a person supposedly that had an appointment would be there in 5 min. Disappointed, I waited I the parking lot rather then heading back to the field house, and 25 min later in customer to be seen. With that experience I havent been back to this location.

The waiting area features some historic chairs and the barber shop looks as if time stood still for quite a while (ask for a hair wash - they can do it but it is an adventure). They do walk-ins only and are usually quite busy so that there are almost every time of the day one or two people waiting. This used to be my local barber shop for several years but recent changes made me come less often: they started only accepting cash and had some staff changes. This was a good excuse to try one of the other barber shops in town :)

The gentleman at the Barber was super patient and a calming influence. Previous attempts to cut my son's hair at children's hair salons have been absolute horror shows but they were awesome and he was barely nervous at all. Amazing job. I get my hair cut here too and they do very good work.
