Glad I listened to him on both accounts. Great food, great ambiance, and exceptional service. Really enjoyed the portions and the flavor of the food. Really enjoyed the strong drinks we ordered. The menu was pretty long, but I knew exactly what I wanted. Since this was one of the first restaurants we got to go to since our time back, we ordered mussels. I ordered the curry mosselen. The flavors were there, but I would say it was a bit muted. You get this huge pot of mussels, but the secret is that the broth and the flavors are always towards the bottom. So if you're trying to get all the flavor, head there first and then get some of the mussels that have been just sitting in that broth. Overall, I thought De Troubadour was great. I would definitely come back here and eat again. Service was very accommodating with families as well.
