This is a review for the playground part of the park. We absolutely love this playground. We passed by a few playgrounds before choosing to go to this one, because I thought that the background looked amazing. And since I was resting before a hike, I want to let the kids play, while I had a good view. It's clear to see that locals love the park as well, because there were some people who were having a birthday party here. I can see why this would be a popular park since it is so large, has great parking and an ample amount of place to sit down. I will say that I am disappointed with the bathroom situation. There were metal toilets, and it wasn't as nice as I would assume it would be, being that it is in Palm Springs, California. The bathrooms don't even have a faucet inside. You have to open the doorknob and go outside to the communal faucet next to where people fill their bottles with the water. Kind of gross. Overall, I would come again, but I would make sure to have a large bottle of hand sanitizer (which thankfully, we did).

This review is for the pickleball courts. I found it on Google Maps. Parking was easy; they have a large parking lot. There were so many courts, and they were somewhat separated. There were maybe 12 courts? It was great because it was free for the public and did not require prior reservation. The downside to these courts is there are no wind guards around all the courts fences. It was quite windy, which affected game play. I don't know if there is a waitlist system because I was able to find a free court at the time of my visit.

The location is a favorite of my toddlers, and the park is not too crowded. There are some transients around, but the facilities are kept clean.

    Fantastic dog walking and CLEAN!!!

Instead of driving, we decided to get a tour and let them guide us and drive us around. Well, it was a 2 hour tour and Tony, our guide, kind of spent a little extra time with us, after other people got off the tram. Weather was just perfect. We loved everything about this tour. It is breathtaking, beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The tour included hiking, taking couple of photos, and other things..We took the Palm Canyon trail which is relatively an easy hike for the 1st mile. Gorgeous views to stop by and take photos. Beautiful waterfalls and can also be fun for children. We were there earlier this year and that's all I can say and remember about this tour. I highly recommend to all. Prices are $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors and kids. They have a gift shop, restroom at the front of the entrance, plenty of parking spaces and it was a memorable experience. We are both glad that we took this tour. :-) Make sure you are out by 5pm, they will nicely escort you to your vehicles. Take extra clothes to change, pretty humid; and a gallon/bottles of water. Wear comfortable tennis shoes. Thank you Tony & Indian Canyons tour..

Well worth the $12.00 entry fee per car. Come here when it's hot for a cooler experience under the trees or winter for some good hiking. This is Palm Springs after all.

Privately owned and what appears to still have a home property onsite, Moorten Botanical features over 3,000 species of cacti. Another unique component is the rare Cactarium which is a greenhouse featuring cactus and succulents. Admission is $7 cash or card and there is always staff available to greet guests. A paper map is provided post payment to help navigate the grounds. I recommend sunscreen as a majority of the viewing takes place outside and the sun tends to beat down. Onsite there are a variety of large tortoises in specialty spots enjoying their environment. At the end of the garden, there is a nursery where plants can be purchased along with gardening trinkets. For the value, this is one to not miss! I've been coming here for years since I was a little girl and I enjoy the fact that Moorten sticks to their roots and have kept the layout the same allowing me to feel nostalgia each time I visit. Thank you!!!

I'm sort of hijacking this review of Victoria Park in Palm Springs to vent, as I know no one will…read moreread this anyways. Came here to eat the Albertsons rotisserie chicken, as I've started reviewing all grocery store tissys. This series has sort of started taking off on Tiktok, and it's just a little overwhelming. I don't really know why. I've been posting on Tiktok for about a year and a half now, and went from 7k followers to 17k in a few days due to this series. 17k still really isn't anything in the grand scheme of things, but idk. It has me in a weird headspace. Part of it is I finally got some traction, and I don't want to fall off. Part of it is my Tiktok account getting flooded with notifications makes me anxious. Part of it is I feel weird talking about it with my friends and family, as Tiktok to them is just like a little kid thing. Idk. I'm kinda proud but also kind of embarrassed in the same breath. Part of it is I'm 29 years old and still feel like I have nothing figured out. I'm unhappy with my full time job, and thought I'd have a full blown career and family at this point. I'm genuinely such a passionate person in general, and would love to do something I'm passionate about full time. I feel like I'd be unstoppable. Am I the chicken guy now? I guess so lmao. I just have such a love for food in general, as you can really get to know a culture through their food. People light tf up over food. I don't write this to make it seem like I'm somebody, I'm obviously not at all. I'm just trying to vent. Trying to figure myself out.
