This is a bit long, but you NEED TO READ THIS FIRST to avoid the issues I had. Purchased the SPORTSTER - DYNA BLACK TBARS FAT 1-1/4" 10" back on June 4th and received in relatively fast on June 9th, but this is where the issues began. Upon seeing the box, it looked like someone has beat the hell out of it. The box was smashed as you can see from the pictures, handlebars were all scratched up, partly hanging out of the box, there was no filler in the box to keep it from getting smashed, and it looked like the box had been opened and then re-taped. Contacted Demon's Cycle and they at first asked if it could be touched up, but because it's matte black it can't be touched up. They agreed to the return and said that they would go after FedEx for the $54 shipping cost that I had to pay since it looked like it was damaged in shipment. FedEx would not return any insurance to me for the damaged product as "I am the receiver and not the sender, which they only issue refunds to the sender." Demon's Cycle asked for pictures of the damages so they can submit the claim, which I sent to them the same pictures I have posted. Then I never heard anything back from, after I had already been emailing them and even spoke to them on the phone. On July 1st I sent the handlebars back at a cost of $54 through FedEx. Well apparently, the handlebars got delivered to the FedEx facility near their shop, but it sat there for two weeks. No one picked it up and FedEx didn't deliver it, didn't even show an attempt to deliver. It was sent back to me and arrived around Aug 4th. I again spent weeks trying to figure this out with FedEx and Demon's Cycle about what happened. I had to get a refund for the package being returned and then send the package again at the beginning of Sept. It finally got there this time! Days after it was delivered, I had to contact them since I had still not heard anything from them. First response back from Demon's cycle was "These are completely trashed. And it did not happen from shipping. What did you do to the handlebars before you shipped them back?" This was after the fact that they ALREADY knew what happened to them in the first place. That these were damaged upon arrival and I NEVER even got to use them, nor did they move farther away than a few feet from the box at any time. After several emails from the customer service person attacking me and getting a just of that they were not going to refund me my money, I submitted my A-Z Claim through Amazon about this product and they again attacked me for saying I am filing a false claim. They even told Amazon it was a false claim and I am still having trouble getting my money back. This was bought over 4 months ago now. This is the biggest joke I have ever had to deal with through Amazon and with Demon's Cycle. Never again will I purchase anything from them. Sad part is that I have a motorcycle parts business and these guys looked promising for a low-priced motorcycle parts. They have lost business for good and lost business from anyone I work with as no one has ever heard of a company doing this, especially not through Amazon.

There are places you walk into knowing immediately whether they care…read more And then there are places like Cycle Gear, where you realize--about thirty seconds in--that you're in good hands, even if you personally don't know a clutch from a clothes hanger. Full disclosure: I don't ride. I tried. I flunked out of motorcycle school like a cautionary tale told around a campfire. But my girlfriend Julia does ride--and this is her shop. From the outside, Cycle Gear looks exactly how it should: clean, professional, confident. No intimidation. No macho nonsense. Just a place that says, "Yeah, we know what we're doing--come on in." Inside? It's organized, dialed-in, and stocked like a proper armory for two wheels. Helmets, jackets, gloves, tech--everything where it should be, nothing sloppy, nothing chaotic. But here's where it matters. Julia comes here for real help. Not sales pitches. Not eye-rolling. Not "you'll figure it out." She's had her Bluetooth helmet setup handled here, patiently, clearly, and professionally--by people who actually take the time to explain things and make sure it works. I stand there nodding like I understand anything, and they still treat both of us with respect. And that's rare now. We live in an era where "customer service" usually means someone pointing vaguely at a QR code and disappearing. At Cycle Gear, they show up. They help. They care. They follow through. No attitude. No rush. Just competence and decency--the stuff that used to be normal and now feels like a small miracle. So while I may never ride, I know this much: If you're trusting someone with your safety, your gear, and your ride--this is exactly the kind of place you want in your corner. For taking care of Julia. For knowing their craft. For proving great service still exists.

The employee, a guy named Bryant was attending to them, all while 3 other employees stood by and watched. After I brought in 4 rims / tires for repair, no one even held a door open or assisted in any way. Next, I stood at the counter for 23 minutes, while Bryant exchanged bike pics, & motorcycle stories with this couple that was already finished paying. This went on while they all starred at me just waiting by the counter. 4 Employees, me, and a couple that was already finished checking out. Inefficiency & Ineptitude was shining bright. That's thecompany culture under this guy. Its no fault of the other 3 employees, theyre just following suit. I left 1 pair of tires for repair, and carried the other pair back to my car. I took the other pair to AMR Superbikes, where i paid $35 for mount, balance, valve stem & disposal. My Opinion of Cycle Gear.... i paid $75 for 1 tire mount, balance, valve stem, disposal & crap treatment. Never Again for me! I am a biz owner & there are ways to multi task, be efficient, and delegate authority amongst employees. This group at CG was oblivious to these basic business standards. On a positive note, I noww found a new bike shop that i absolutely am thrilled to revisit in the future in AMR Bikes. I returned 4 hours later with a vow never to revisit. In summary, Cycl Gear looks lije a nice Store, but my money will flow were it's treated best. Again, the store was absolutely empty while this went on with no other patrons. So I gazed at a wall of Helmets, I did some social media replies, waited patiently while theyswapped bike stories. Apparently, at this facility I was on the, "pay no mind" list. That's Bad Cust Svc. Thanx, BUT No Thanx!!!

The first thing I thought after taking off on the motorcycle was he never test road it. Not only did the bike hesitate it's air intake from the exhaust was like fire crackers. $2500 in parts and labor the following day my bike doesn't start and my battery is dead, so after I bring it back to my mechanic he says he will trickle charge it and run tests to see if the charging system is failing. So not only does he tell me that I must've left the motorcycle on and the battery is dead. So after 2 months of having my MC he puts a new battery in and don't check the charging system. so I asked the mechanic for his multi meter reading and yet have gotten the video . So I'm going to put this brand new battery . Which I just bought from my over compensated mechanic. Walah it starts right up. So I drive it to work, then beach side. Total of about 2 hrs. The next day I took a ride low and behold it dies. So I get it home. Order regulator, rectifier and stator. The parts cost me $60. Time 3 hrs to change them and it runs great. The mechanic wanted another $700 after I paid him $2600.

Picked up the bike and it ran a little better but felt like it was starving for fuel and was charged $700 because it took 7 hours (?). I recently did an air box removal and had to install different jets which I did. I completed the air box removal, re jetted the carbs and put everything back together in 4 hours. The air box removal requires more disassembly (rear wheel removal).
