I appreciated that my Hilton Honors membership was added to the reservation even though I booked through a third party. This hotel was very busy on the night that I stayed. It seems like a popular place. The thing I wish were different about my stay was that the bathroom did not have enough ventilation for the shower.

But I was grateful to have the appliances. Food - I don't know because we refused to pay the $10 breakfast that most other hotels in the area offer for free. Also, the Bricktown Brewery (next door) is a great alternative to lunch and dinner. The prices are MUCH better and the food is amazing! Service- could improve. We asked for towels (3 ppl in our room, but we only had 2). They said they'd bring them to our room. Then they called and said to come to the front desk. (I would be OK with this, but I saw the lady bring towels to a neighboring room at the same time.) I thought they were ours. ... also, we asked for toilet tissue because we started with a half roll and no refills. It was like pulling teeth to get another roll of toilet tissue .. also, the area had a water main break. They were letting people have water. So why do they have a problem with me asking for water too?... But I will give them a little credit, as they let us check in 45 min before check in time. We had a red eye and were struggling. Other people got their rooms are few hours early, but I'll accept 45 min. Better than nothing. Pool / fitness - eh it was ok. Overall experience - meh... I won't go back

She offered free breakfast for the inconvenience but we just ended up canceling the reservation.

Not sure it's because of what we had or if every dish is as awful as what we had. My husband had the burger, very dry and I had the fish and chips. I recommend getting a room on the opposite side of the freeway so it's quieter. Easy to get to Fort Sill and close to Viridian Coffee. Cons: pretty far from most places in Lawton, not close to most of the good restaurants. The breakfast is white breads, bland cereals, and waffles. Not for me. The coffee is terrible. The hotel would benefit from having items to purchase at the front desk: water, wine, snacks etc. Basically, an okay hotel for staying a night or two.

Everything was cooked and made with love and the staff were above and beyond friendly making me feel at home at Sleep Inn, especially the breakfast staff. I really enjoyed their Original flavored oatmeal, eggs, sausage, waffles and apple juice. They had more breakfast items, but those are my hotel usuals. It also wasn't hard to find great parking, there were plenty of spaces. The location is also close to the freeway for convenience. They have great check in and check out times too! For a smooth and wonderful stay, I recommend Sleep Inn.

There was no signage to indicate this was the SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western. There was a mat that said "Comancheria," so I had to confirm with the Front Desk staff that I was at the right place. The elevator was quite small and couldn't fit that many people or luggage. Instead of having a flat surface/clear pathway to the hotel room, there was a weird rollercoaster type of path that we had to maneuver with luggage. The key card reader to the hotel room didn't work well, and even when it turned "green," the door still had difficulty opening. The hotel room itself was a bit cramped. The toilet made a funny noise throughout our stay (like air flowing through the toilet), and that's without even flushing it. The bathroom counter top was lower than normal standards. The curtains didn't cover the windows completely and light shined through. On the plus side, the hotel's WiFi had a steady connection. It didn't kick you off even if you left the property and returned at a later time. This isn't the worse hotel I've stayed in, but it isn't the best either.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first room we checked into had a nasty smell to it, and a burn spot on the carpet in the center. Apparently the placard showed it as a smoking room, while the app which I used to do check in via the Hilton app showed all rooms as not smoking. Whether the placard reflected whether guests were actually allowed to smoke, the room smelled bad. We asked the front desk to switch rooms and they were understanding and let us switch rooms easily. Our second room was good. All pictures were taken right before checking out, as we were quite tired when we arrived, so the cleanliness was much better at the start. The kitchenette was a very nice amenity and allowed us to comfortably eat leftovers or delivery in the room. The sitting area was nice, and the door separating the bedroom from the sitting area is a nice feature if staying with additional guests. None of the windows opened, so it made any smells in the room stay for quite some time, which we disliked. The sink area is nice, but the bathroom was a bit outdated in its style, with a combined shower and bath. Reminded me of home. The location is really good if you're trying to get to Fort Sill or the Casino right across the highway, but our destination was the other side of town, so it took us a bit longer than if we had gotten something closer. That's more on us than the hotel's fault. Breakfast was one of the better ones I've had at a Hilton, with oatmeal, breakfast tacos, and the standard eggs and potatoes. Overall, the hotel had some nice aspects to it, but it wasn't anything too special. We paid about $100 a night, which was a pretty decent price, especially for the room to include a kitchenette. It's about as good as you'll get in the area, so for Lawton, fairly good hotel.

The front desk person rounded up a few clean swimming pool towels, but had no washcloths or hand towels to give us. Breakfast food was nearly empty 20 minutes before the breakfast time ended. Lounge area chairs were threadbare and tables not clean. This place is poorly managed and not up to the Hilton brand standards.
