In booking, i wish they accepted credit cards verse using Cashapp because the fees wasn't disclosed prior to booking but they did work with us. Man refused to refund deposit even 2 min after booking bc he said we had a contract and it's nonrefubdable. None of this was told to me until after I asked to cancel. Only got a text receipt of the deposit which was so full of errors I could not understand it. He knew I was trying to help my husband to treat our daughters special before he leaves for deployment in a couple weeks. Price was too much and he charged HALF just for the deposit and now I don't have that to spend on them at their daddy daughter ball. I discussed my unhappiness with how he did not tell me any of this up front and he did not care at all. Sad for my girls. Great way to treat a veteran and his family.

I stayed at the Prado Hotel in Ridgeland, Mississippi [610 E County Line Rd] from Wednesday,…read more06/03/26 until Friday, 06/05/26. Upon arrival, I was greeted by both Courtney & Ed Lewis at the counter. They were both so hospitable and welcoming. The check-in process was easy and straightforward. I was assigned room #602, located on the 6th floor. Ed finally informed me about the pertinent details of the hotel stay. This hotel was beyond incredible from start to finish. I have nothing but a lot of positive notes to share. PROS: * Complimentary breakfast AND Dinner * Top-Shelf Happy Hour daily from 5:30 - 7:30 PM - complimentary alcoholic drinks (up to 3 per day). The bartender, Tanisha, was beyond sweet and served up amazing drinks! * Beautiful view from the 6th floor * The room was clean and located close to the floor's elevator * Great amenities - A/C, fridge, TV, microwave, and more! * Complimentary parking - spaces were plentiful * Convenient location - a variety of stores & restaurants nearby; right off the freeway * Affordability of the room rate What stood out to me the most was the inclusion of the complimentary dinner. I was beyond impressed, as this is something that's not usually offered at most hotels. For dinner on Wednesday night, I tried the Grilled Chicken, Macaroni & Cheese, and Vegetable Soup. On Thursday night, I had the Meatballs in Brown Gravy, Garlic Red Mashed Potatoes, and Gumbo. The taste of the food from both nights was not too shabby and very doable. Overall, the Prado exceeded expectations. The entire hotel experience was just marvelous. Should I travel to Mississippi in the near future, I will definitely stay here again.

Neither one was the best food but both were edible and it was nice to not add another meal to the cost of my trip. 5 stars for TSA? YES....5 STARS FOR THIS TSA!…read more Boarding my flight home in Jackson is always super nice. Granted, there aren't many food options, but there are also never any lines, the process is super fast and for the most part all of the TSA agents are friendly. On my last trip to Jackson I left my FitBit as I went through the checkpoint. I didn't realize this until I got to my connection in Atlanta - when I went to check how many steps I had to compare a before/after walking the ATL airport. GONE! Nothing on my wrist. "CRAP", I thought, "I'll never see it again!" -- I called the airport immidiatly and was connected to TSA. "Oh, yes, we have it! Call this number.....I'm taking it to the office right now". I couldn't beleive it was still there. Someone actually turned it in? I couldn't picture that happening back at my home airport(s)....but this is Mississippi....the folks are nice. VERY NICE. This review NEEDS to mention Mr. Grover. If anyone in a position of management is reading this, please know that having folks like Mr. Grover on your team is a huge win. First off, he was super nice over the phone and via email. After I checked in to see if there was an update on the shipping, he mentioned it was a holiday and that since they weren't picking up, he would go drop it off on his way home. WHAT?! That's above and beyond the call of duty. And so very much appreciated. JXN TSA, you guys are good in my book. I'll never huff and puff when I have to take off my belt and put my computer in a separate bin. You guys have won me over with your honesty, caring and excellent service.

Bathroom very large also and well appointed. Exceptional lighting. 2. Kitchen access upstairs for ice, free soda, coffee, tea or water, homemade cookies bt elevator or stairs. Honor system for alcohol (we didnt try any). 3. Accommodating pleasant staff. 4. Old historic house and small but pretty grounds you can walk around. The magnolias are ancient and spectacular. Wish we could have seen them in bloom. 5. Can order nicely prepared meals to room or eat in library lounge - breakfast or dinner. Def an old southern feel to the place. Cons: 1. Parking was tight and hard to to manuever but they did have a cart available for rooms that are further away - partially broken. 2. In downtown area, kind of dingy and run down - but somewhat charming w many old craftsman homes around. 3. Could have used some hanging baskets and annuals for more color and charm - would help brighten the mood of the run down area of town - 4. And wish theyd answer the phones. We left messages almost everytime we called (they were good about calling back). This leaves one feeling disconnected from a warm hospitable experience.
