A professional repair shop should confirm that a repair actually fixes the customer's complaint before calling the job complete. If a diagnosis turns out to be incorrect, the customer shouldn't be expected to pay for the shop's mistake. Everyone can make an honest mistake, but how a business handles those mistakes says a lot about its integrity. This experience left us feeling like profit was prioritized over accurate diagnostics and customer service. I hope others ask plenty of questions and request proof that the original issue has been verified before paying for repairs.
