I brought the van in the next day for repairs, and while the issue ended up being a little bigger than anticipated and required additional parts, they went above and beyond. They put everything back together so I wouldn't be without a vehicle while we waited for the correct parts to come in. Once the parts arrived, they got me in the very same day. The care they showed--not just to me, but to my family--really stood out. It's rare to find a place that treats you like more than just another customer. Two points to make:…read more 1) Great mechanical service (5 stars) I've been to BAS approximately 5 times and the repairs were both done in a timely fashion and with excellent results 2) Customer Service (3 stars) In the 5 times I've had work done..... not once have I been called to give me an estimate of cost & time necessary to complete the job! Just a call on completion with a cost due and a review of what devices were completed. This last time (Tuesday), the car was towed there. A young lady took my wife's information and even gave her a ride home. We didn't hear from them on Wednesday so WE FOLLOWED UP! They didn't even know the car was there! We were told they would check the car for the estimate and call back....they didn'! Now I will have to wait until Thursday am to find out what's up! They cost my wife a days work/pay. She uses the car to do her job. She's off on Wednesdays and will lose Thursday's pay because they lost the car and didn't do the work on Wednesda! I'm sure they'll say "that's to bad".....we'll see.

Before the appointment, SilverRock informed me that the diagnostic fee would be covered. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, the shop refused to release it unless I paid a $50 diagnostic fee. I immediately contacted SilverRock while I was at the shop, and their representative explicitly told me not to pay the fee because it was covered under my warranty. They also told me this is not their standard practice and that I should not have been charged. When I questioned the shop, an employee (possibly the owner) claimed that, in their six years of working with SilverRock customers, everyone who picked up their vehicle and pursued a buyback or exchange through Carvana had always been required to pay the diagnostic fee out of pocket. However, SilverRock directly contradicted that statement and advised me that I should never have been charged. Based on my experience, it appeared the shop was attempting to collect the $50 from me while also seeking reimbursement from SilverRock for the same diagnostic. Whether intentional or not, this was extremely concerning and put me in a very uncomfortable position. I would encourage anyone using a SilverRock warranty to verify any charges directly with SilverRock before paying. My experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this shop based on how this situation was handled

After the repair, they apparently never took the time to verify that the original problem was actually resolved before returning the car. When the same issue remained, instead of standing behind their diagnosis, they claimed the problem was on the opposite side and wanted to charge my mother and sister even more because the first diagnosis was wrong. A professional repair shop should confirm that a repair actually fixes the customer's complaint before calling the job complete. If a diagnosis turns out to be incorrect, the customer shouldn't be expected to pay for the shop's mistake. Everyone can make an honest mistake, but how a business handles those mistakes says a lot about its integrity. This experience left us feeling like profit was prioritized over accurate diagnostics and customer service.
