Very spacious airport lounge with good views. Food and drink options are great. We usually like breakfast foods better than dinner for some reason. Service is the most friendly and fast. Delta sky clubs are definitely the better airport lounges we have visited!

Small. But all Delta clubs are decent. Turned off a bit when she asked me for my Platinum reserve card since it's already linked to my account and is not necessary. I have little patience for this stuff when I set it up to be efficient when I'm walking in. The clubs now have a restriction on how many times you can enter each year. I ended up having 1-2 visits remaining by the end of the year so I wasn't too upset. Overall Delta sky clubs are way better than the competition and you'll find better more appointed clubs in bigger airports. Some even have showers.

We came here in the morning and it wasn't busy yet. The food was good, place was clean and we were able to find where to sit. This was a nice pit stop before our flight

The Delta Sky Club SFO is located in terminal 1 near gate C3. This lounge is quite spacious offering runway views with their floor to ceiling windows. One of their amenities is a shower, giving visitors an option to clean up before their long flight. Reservations are required and can be made at the front desk. The food buffet here is OK but not extensive as other lounges. They do a changeover from breakfast to lunch menu at around 10 AM. Overall the Delta Sky Lounge is an amazing lounge to visit when flying Delta.

Nice central location in SFO at Terminal 1 near gate c3 on the second floor. Feels clean and spacious, although the seating can feel limited when things get crowded. Overall, nothing super fancy and no local foods on display when I've been here. Food bar is solid, but nothing exciting.

The breakfast offerings are limited but there is hot food, yogurt, bagels, and some cheese and cold cuts.

San Francisco, San Francisco International Airport, Terminal 2, C Gates. June 2024. To get to the C gates used by Delta you have to clear TSA from in front of the D Gates and take a walk to your right. As soon as you get there the Sky Club is on your left. Present your credentials and either take an elevator or climb up. The lounge has a high ceiling and lots of light. The windows primarily look across to the D Gates but there are opportunities to spot aircraft on the move. Seating is comfortable and spaced pleasantly apart. The restrooms well maintained and sport Delta color lighting. Having shower facilities is a big plus. The food offerings are not extensive but include hot selections. The line switches from breakfast to lunch around 10:00am. Soda and coffee are machine dispensed. There is welcomed bar seating with a bartender. The complimentary selections are fine but anything good is at a price premium - and it seems like Delta wants to upsell you. Domestic airline lounges are nothing to get excited about. Complaining about what it lacks would be nitpicking. This Delta Sky Club is very nice even if it lacks a "wow" factor.

For decades Delta Airlines has been my preferred US domestic carrier, and by default I frequently visit Delta SkyClub lounges or SkyTeam affiliates or Delta Partners at most airports, in their absence I occasionally visit Centurion Lounges, Plaza Premium, Minute Suites, or PS LAX. SFO SkyClub has an Institutional look and feel, not the most exciting place to hangout for a couple of hours before my flight, but still check all the right boxes, good food, top shelf drinks, comfortable chairs, and a good place to relax while doing some work or just chilling. Airport lounges provide a bit more pleasant setting than your average gate waiting area, United Polaris is by far the best lounge I've visited at SFO, for one reason or another, have never been to The Centurion Lounge here.

Keep in mind that I entered before 8 am But it was spacious, calm, not at all crowded Big windows let in the early morning sunlight And it wasn't freezing cold, actually quite temperate I didn't eat a lot; not too long till boarding But what I had was good, fruits fresh Eggs flavorful, not dry Every staff member I encountered From check in to leaving, were friendly and accommodating Would like to single out Michelle at the bar Who walked around to the coffee set up to show me exactly where the Ghirardelli chocolate powder was And pointed out that there is warm milk dispensed from the coffeemaker because, yes, some of us need all the help we can get

    Andreas K.

Once again a welcome seclusion from the otherwise hectic and busy airport. The staff was welcoming. The facility looked modern, was not too crowded, and most notably it was fairly quiet. And It offered a nice selection of soups, sandwiches, wraps and other smaller items.

(Overall: B) - I felt that the SFO SkyClub is a very pleasantly spacious place to wait for a flight. However, I felt that hot food options were quite limited as half the food options were charcuterie. This would not be my first choice skyclub, but it is quiet and can be used as an arrival lounge, so still pleasant overall. -- Food: E Presentation: E Price: E Atmosphere: +2 Service: E Menu: E Overall: +2 B Insta/Beli: @amei_eats

So much can improve and should be done regarding service, time, and respect, and signed up and approved for an Amex Sky Miles credit card. With the card comes access to the DSC (Delta Sky Club). After I got the card, I was advised that specific ticket criteria would be granted restrictions to the DSC- in this case, my basic economy ticket made my access underprivileged due to diamond members complaining about how crowded the DSC has been, and they were denied access. That is the alleged reason I was told when I called customer service--phone number after holding for 30+ minutes. Diamond members didn't complain enough about that to see a change, but I was denied access twice. The purpose for my complaint stems from two reasons: I could not but my way in and the location at the SFO airport was nowhere close to being busy and more importantly, the only ticket available to me was the essential economy ticket S My guess was because its all they had available. It appears to be privilege-driven, so they made up a rule after that card was disbursed to me and 100's thousands of other paying customers that this was going into effect based on who and what. It feels very close on the cusp of discrimination and poor planning. While some DSCs are crowded on busy concourses, other concourses remain slow and empty. If those are the only flights available, then that puts me and others like me who could never vote on this rule at an incredible disadvantage. The rules are also reinterpreted when you inquire about a possible diversion. And as my newly posted photo shows, this room at SFO was nowhere close to a busy platform. The poor lost souls who are the gatekeepers at the DSC desk arena are of no help other than redirecting you. If I went on a friend's pass and was eligible for redemption, I could not qualify because of my basic economy ticket. It's pretty absurd and mimics redlining specific profiles flying on Delta jets. Let's do the math on the category of diamond members vs. essential economy ticket purchases. Small talk on flyertalk.com has some interesting points of view on status and what it means: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta-air-lines-skymiles/1927233-estimating-diamond-medallion-population.html highlights other interesting points of when certain class of people were bumped off the plane or other harsh treatments while other journalist have dug deeper into history and found these typesof reports: https://www.cntraveler.com/story/how-black-travelers-fought-discrimination-while-flying-in-the-jim-crow-era

First, let's start with ambience. Some sky lounges are in the middle of the airport -- no views!! This one has a beautiful view of the airfield with light and bright windows. There are many areas to sit, including the awesome granite counter I'm typing at by the windows. Soft seating galore, plugs everThis lounge is well staffed and everyone is very nice! Now, the food ... we arrived at a beautiful breakfast spread, complete with sausages, eggs, waffles, toast, bagels. The fruit was fresh. Hard boiled eggs. I love the coffee makers, which can produce whatever you want to drink from ground beans. The best Americano I've ever had at an airport! Bring your Amex Platinum or your Delta SkyMiles card for free entry. If you're married, make sure you both have your cards. I forgot mine and had to call American Express to get my number. Extra guests (without cards) are $50.

I really like this club!! Better than the centurion and on par with the Polaris. Never flew out of T2. On my way to Boston and decided to give this a try. I love the protein selection. Chicken - sautéed, roasted and fried. Lots of tofu too and cured meats. I am doing this intermittent fasting thing and had been fasting for 19 hours. My protein intake is not quite to my daily allowance so this club has a great deal of healthy clean protein to choose from. A great place to eat to break your fast! Unlike the centurion it is not very crowded. The non alcoholic drinks are varied which I really like. I filled up my 32 Oz water bottle with lemon water. I like that you can look out to the runway. It is by C3. Easy to find. Pleasant atmosphere. Makes me rethink my next year's travel plan - I might switch over to Delta after this stay.

    How late is food available?

If I recall, they started to clean up the food area about 15-20 minutes before closing.

The line was okayish (see photo). Took about 10-15m to get to check in desk. The lady at the desk was friendly. She asked me to scan my Priority Pass twice and boarding pass twice (standard, two different scanners). She asked: you just arrived? I said: yes. Then I was motioned to go in. Took the elevator up one floor to access the tables, rooms, showers, bathrooms, food, and bar. Today the hot bar served scrambled eggs with artichokes and spinach, sausage links, diced fruit, chia pudding, and cereal. The other food bar had a pot of oatmeal (with topping options), pot of mushroom congee (kimchi & green onions toppings), bread options (bagels, muffins, sliced bread) with spread options (cream cheeses, pesto, butter, etc). Beverage bar included coffee machine, teas, orange juice, and soda dispensers. The first plate of food was pretty good. I was hungry so happy to have hot food. The sausage was moist and flavorful. My second plate I got a bowl of congee which was unflavorful, but with the kimchi it was fine. I also popped in some sausage. I chose the sliced bread with different spreads. I don't drink regular milk so I had to forgo my latte. I made an espresso and added oat milk, but it was pretty terrible. But if you need caffeine it's something. I didn't have a hard time finding a seat. Other guests were kind and accomodating to each other. Bathroom was busy, and I had to wait a couple minutes. It was decently clean. On Friday afternoon of what for many is an important holiday weekend (Easter), the Centurion Lounge was limiting access and using an online waiting list. I hold the Platinum Card® (primary cardholder). I had to wait about 20 minutes to enter. I checked in to the queue by scanning a QR code at the door (there are different codes for each type of cardmember, so if the sign with the codes is up, be sure to scan the right one). After you scan, you'll be taken to an online form to fill out. You'll get an email or text to confirm you're on the waitlist, and another with a QR code when it's your turn to enter. Once you get your code, go to the reception desk and show your QR code and boarding pass. If it's busy, you'll be asked to choose a table or seat appropriate to your party size (i.e., if you're alone, don't take a table for four). It is a nice space, with a variety of seating. After the wait, I didn't have a lot of time to explore before I needed to be at my gate, so I went right for the food. Food quality was good, but not stellar. I was able to get some nice chicken and a vegetable. Had to try something sweet, so I got a chocolate-dipped coconut macaroon. THAT was really good. Staff were all friendly and helpful. They were staffed well enough that tables were getting cleaned promptly as soon as people left. They do have a bar, but given time pressure, I didn't get anything. I don't fly out of SFO all that often, so I don't know when I'll get an opportunity to give the Centurion Lounge another chance. But I do hope that once Terminal 3 is renovated and they're back in their regular location, I might have a better experience.

One caveat though that Jamie W and I discovered was that if your flight leaves from International Area A, you're given access to this business class lounge instead. That's because it's a rather excessive 25-minute walk away from the United Polaris Lounge in International Area G. When we asked the check-in agent whether this lounge was comparable to Polaris, he gave it an 8 out of 10. He was being much too generous. It turned out to be a claustrophobic two-room space where ironically, the first-class room was more cramped than the general area. There were barely any outlets, and it was so tight that the rotating chairs kept banging into each other. There were three warmers of hot Chinese food, but none of it was that tempting. We managed to snack on stale cookies and diet soft drinks. There was a full staff operating here, but the experience didn't really warrant that level of attention. Shrimp orzo with saffron was tasty with three large prawns. The wild mushroom bourguignon bouchée was my favorite with the meaty sautéed mushrooms layered on top of a puff pastry and covered with the boursin sauce. I would order it again. Polaris signature burger was a consistent go to for at least one of us. Juicy beef, crispy bacon and grilled onions on a brioche bun was filling. Lastly dessert choice was the matcha panna cotta and it disappointed as the matcha was just a tiny layer at the bottom of the glass so no discernible flavor. At least the grapefruit topper was juicy along with the sesame crumble were both the highlight. Great service from Elsa through our meal! Hopefully it doesn't get more crowded after all the fare changes United made to get more paying customers for Polaris.

Seating was comfortable with plenty of space to spread out, charge devices, and enjoy some quiet time away from the busy terminal. The food selection was surprisingly solid for an airport lounge. Fresh pastries, light hot items, snacks, and a good variety of drinks including wine, coffee, and soft beverages. Everything was well stocked during my visit and the staff kept the area tidy. Service was friendly and welcoming from the moment I checked in. Staff were attentive without being intrusive and helped keep the space calm and organized. Overall, a smooth and comfortable pre-flight experience. Definitely one of the nicer lounges at SFO and a great way to start the trip.

Tender had gone to the head and I was told by a random male employee to come back in five minutes. I came back in five. Tender still gone. Wife went to the bar and was told that soft drinks are in main food serving area. -1 star. I saw a female employee bend over to pick up a scrap of litter that a lesser employee would have ignored. A beautiful act of professionalism. +1 star. The place can get busy and an occasional traveling swine will leave a belonging on a chair or table to "Reserve" it - rendering it unusable for possibly hours. Suggestion to Lounge: Get a manager or Security to clean these squatter bombs up and free up space.
