The quality of work is very good. This firm does each part of the job carefully; nothing is rushed to get a quick completion. Prices are not the cheapest, but are still quite moderate, good value for such careful and professional attention to detail. Mess is cleared up at the end of each day leaving the site tidy. Mr Hawkes keeps you up to date throughout, explaining what part of the job is to be done in the immediate future. Terms for major projects are part payment up front, part when they are halfway through and the balance on satisfactory completion of the job. They do not go off doing other jobs, leaving you waiting, (unless there is an emergency), but that did not happen to me. Recommended - and trustworthy.

As I've mentioned in another review, I tend to go on gut instinct as much as personal recommendation. Danny came recommended by a fellow builder who had done done work for my Dad. He's a decent guy, never messed us around and turned up when he said he would. As we were having quite a large job done I saw quite a bit of him and his colleagues. They wp were all nice guys, which is important they're around your home. The other major bonus for me was that they tidied up each day and never left us in a mess, or as little mess as possible. They weren't the cheapest around, but then I'm never swayed by that, and neither were they the most expensive either.
