When I used to work for a housing association, Butco were our contractors for all things boiler-related, so I used to speak to them at least once or twice a day. By and large they were OK, although the service seemed to be a bit hit & miss: sometimes they were really quick and efficient at sorting out repair issues, other times things seemed to drag on and on.
Their office staff were always great - really efficient, friendly and they knew their stuff. Julie who worked there was particularly on the ball - I'm not sure if she'd been there any longer than the rest of the staff, or if she was just really capable. Either way, if Julie was onto it then by and large you'd get your problem sorted. We never received many complaints about Butco - other than sometimes being slower off the mark than people would have liked, but that's just busyness for you, and you can't really blame a company for that! read more
