The restaurant is quaint with an outdoor garden seating area and an inside dining area. I was promptly greeted by 2 lovely ladies that showed me to my table. Pleasantly I was given a menu in English after asking which is a plus for those who try but fail at German. The food is mixture of Tapas and German. I ordered from both sides and was not disappointed. I had the mushrooms in olive oil which were served in a flash but piping hot and fantastic. For dinner I had the schnitzel with black Forrest ham and fries. The food was just as good as the attentive service. The only word to the wise is the interior dining room is small that the many conversations can be overpowering to those who do not have the filter from having children. I visit the area quite often for work and will definitely be back.

Had a "daily special" which was…read moresome sort of mildly spicy venison with raspberry stew over home made pasta. while the combination of tastes sounds pretty odd, it was quite good, and i'd actually highly recommend it. the chocolate cake dessert with vanilla bean ice cream was incredible. there seemed to be one waiter on staff at the time, and he was quite friendly and fast.

Had some great conversations with people sitting at our table. Loses one star for not having anything vegan, there was one flammkuchen that was vegetarian and the potato salad didn't have meat. Highly recommended for the beer alone.
