He asked thoughtful questions about the music we loved, songs we did and didn't want played, and details we probably wouldn't have thought of ourselves. On our wedding day, David was professional and did everything we asked and more. He played beautiful acoustic music during cocktail hour and kept people on the dance floor throughout the reception. He read the room perfectly and made it fun for everyone. We can't say enough good things about David and would recommend him without hesitation

The live music was absolutely beautiful, and he even learned a custom song for our recessional. We had so many people come up to us at the reception (and for a few days afterward!) to tell us that the DJ was one of the best they'd ever heard, if not THE best. If you're still wondering whether or not you should book David for your event, take this as your sign! You will not regret it.

They send over a sheet with their music selections, you fill out what you want, and send it back about a month before the wedding. One thing I'll say is that the music sounded even better in person than in the samples. So many of our guests commented on how cool it was and how much it added to the atmosphere. For our 2-hour City Hall wedding, it was honestly perfect. It really fills up the space and makes everything feel a lot more grand and special without feeling over the top. Based on their samples and advice from some of our musician friends, we decided to go with the trio for a fuller sound, and I'm really glad we did. Highly recommend going that route if it fits your budget.

So many of our guests came up to us afterward raving about how amazing they were and how much the music elevated the entire experience. If you're getting married at SF City Hall or hosting any special event and want live music that makes a lasting impression, Corelli Strings is the way to go. Beyond Compare - Musical Heart Strings Made Our Wedding Truly Magical!…read more Working with Gretchen and Kerry of Musical Heart Strings was one of the best decisions we made for our Tiburon wedding. We immediately wanted to work with them after seeing their website and content, and their live performance did not disappoint. They are truly phenomenal musicians! From our very first outreach, they were full of excitement and so happy to workshop unique ideas with us to make our day as special as possible. They brought two massive highlights to our wedding that our guests are still talking about. First, they were totally open to leading our recessional, playing their instruments while walking as we exited the ceremony, which gave the entire moment a beautifully joyful and light feeling. Second, they collaborated flawlessly with our DJ for a super unique grand entrance to our reception. They played live violin and cello right along with the DJ playing Glenn Miller's "In the Mood" in the background--it was incredibly fun and really got the crowd going! Gretchen and Kerry are consummate professionals whose musical abilities are beyond compare. They set the perfect ambiance and made our day unforgettable.

Where do I begin with a review for this guy?…read more Not going with Chris is a mistake. Chris isn't here to do the bare minimum. Chris is here because he loves doing his job. What I see in Chris is a person who not only love his chosen field but is obsessed with quality and constantly bettering himself for both himself and his customers. He is extremely kind, likeable, and constantly surprising in such a good way. But lets discuss details! I met Chris after seeing his advertisements - I chose him within moments. Fortunate for us, he chose us back. Chris brings a wonderful combination of fingerstyle guitar talent as well as DJ skills. The guitar work was incredible and the videos don't do it justice. My guests loved every moment of it. On a personal level, Chris connected with me and my [wife] immediately. He invested personally, even going so far as to learn multiple songs from scratch (some without existing tabs), specifically for our wedding. He did so even when told it was not expected at all. In terms of DJ skills - I would not have ever guessed he was new. Chris immerses in the individual taste of the customer and delivers a seamless experience for the party. He even deviated when needed (after checking with us for permission) to give what he felt was the best touch to his set lists. It was a deeply personal set list and he honored that thoroughly. He managed to get a large crew of introverts on the dance floor in a way I feared was not possible. We didn't have a wedding planner. Chris let us lean on him heavily - talking with us about ceremony management, reception management, and even acted as our MC for the evening. He came with equipment and set ups for multiple locations and was clearly beyond prepared. Again. It's a mistake not going for Chris. Getting him for less than $10,000 is a steal. Chris delivered in a way I just was not expecting - and I cannot recommend him more.

He has a vast list of songs that he knows by heart, and it was great to see a variety of music genres/artists we can select from. We had 2 calls with him: 1 during our initial booking, and then another a few weeks prior to finalize event details and timeline. In terms of equipment, he does provide a lapel microphone and wireless microphone - this was a huge plus as we were able to seamlessly work with him on providing the audio system for our ceremony. Many of our wedding guests RAVED about him afterwards, and truly thankful to have Nick at our morning ceremony to help create the fairytale vibe. He is a valuable vendor to have, and something about live music just adds to the vibe for every event. Thank you so much, Chris!! I highly recommend booking him for your wedding or other events!!

Zebuel is not only an amazing musician and DJ, but also the curator of event excellence. He brought to life with his team a NOLA influenced second-line to keep our wedding celebrations alive post ceremony, heading into the reception with instruments and all the bells & whistles. Not only was this an epic highlight for our guests, but something my husband and I only thought could happen in our dreams! He truly listened to our wants/needs with flawless execution, but above all else, went above & beyond to ensure this was the best day/night of our lives. From lighting, a DJ/live instrument fusion, and photography from So Good Photobooth, we could not recommend this Team more for your next special event ~ whether corporate or personal! Because of this Team, we had an unforgettable and picture-perfect event filled with our favorite people and the musical experience of our lifetime.
