I was invited to DU for a summit and it was the best conference space I've ever seen. Instead of repeating all the praises (every bit of it true), I'll point out my favorites: the sweet BBQ sauce at the Barn that made the fatty cut even more delicious (the server recommended them to me), the comfy lounge chairs by the river (which is from captured rainwater), the stack of books in every room so you can peruse them instead of turning on the TV, Guest Services that sells a variety of stylish (yes!) tees and shorts, and the worry-free transportation to and from Dallas airport.

I had a fantastic experience at Deloitte University. I attended the Deloitte National Leadership Conference, and it was a fantastic opportunity to meet other Deloitte interns as well as learn about the culture at Deloitte. In terms of the amenities, every guest received their own King bed and private bathroom with a TV and books that you could read during your stay. The free Starbucks was a necessity with the busy days, and the staff were so incredibly friendly. The food at the market is some of the best food I have ever had, with my personal favorites being the roasted potatoes, strawberry salad, and all of the steak. At night, we headed to the barn which was also filled with of great food including very tender brisket and delicious Mac and cheese. We even had the opportunity to explore the surrounding area during our free time. The sessions were all so engaging, with my favorite being the Deloitte Business Chemistry. Deloitte University was a truly remarkable and life changing experience, and if you are ever given the opportunity to go I highly recommend!

PROS: Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! The food there is made by chefs and I loved everything! They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The people were generous and sweet! The place inside and outside was gorgeous! It felt like a Disneyland hotel but even better! The elevators looked like they were made from gold! They have a place to go after you finish work with lots of activities. They have a gym and a few sport courts. They also have water coolers on every corner stop if you get dehydrated while walking around DU! This is the BEST PLACE EVER! CONS: NO SUCH THING!

Deloitte University was an UH-MAZING experience. I was able to attend their Courageous Principals Institute with collegues from my district. From the moment I pulled up, I just knew things were on point. Their customer service is phenomenal. I really enjoyed how well put together each day's event had gone. I had the opportunity to meet many new colleagues who I plan to keep in touch with for many years to come. Between each session, food/snacks/drinks were always available. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always five-star! Meals were fine buffet style which gave you the opportunity to choose from a variety of choices. The hotel room was very accommodating and CLEAN! On each floor, snacks were provided for your enjoyment! I definitely recommend going to WHATEVER training they have if your district/company provide you with this opportunity!

Here's what you need to know: if I could give this facility and the service within 10 stars , I would. Extraordinary experience of service and comfort that is even unparalleled when compared with 5 star hotel properties across the world. The comort and experience you are indulged in while you attend meetings or training is simply luxurious. All meals and snacks are excellently prepared and complementary (impossibly to do portion control); the wine selection has plenty to offer for everyone and pricing for many a selection is at par with retail wine shops. From the moment you check in at DU, you are treated with incredibly generous hospitality from the staff (very four seasonsesque). The room I stayed in was excellent (between the quality of a 4 and 5 star hotel). There are several little common areas/nooks in the hallways leading to the rooms - each carefully appointed and themed differently based on locations of offices in the different Deloitte US geographical regions stocked with Nespresso machines, snacks, drinks, candy, etc. to much on any time of the day. The food at the Market dining hall and the Barn is absolutely terrific. Perhaps the best large scale catered food quality I've ever enjoyed. The bistro bar offers a full selection of espresso based drinks (complementary), using Starbucks coffee (here I wish they used a better - perhaps third wave - roaster to elevate the coffee experience. The AI technology (like dancing interactive robots ) on display at DU is fun and exciting, and captivates/engages the attendees. I can go on and on and on but suffice to say it is a one of a kind facility that truly elevated the learning experience. It's a privilege to spend time here and grow your skills and outlook. Well done Deloitte! NO EXPENSES SPARED. Cost - Free, except a couple hundred $$s on bottles of wine.

Deloitte University was definitely the nicest training facility and hotel that I've ever been to. I ditto everything that has been said in the previous reviews. The rooms are comfy and amazing. I loved that everything could be controlled by the bedside tablet (lights, thermostat, and tv). DFit was definitely a great touch as well. Plenty of cardio and weight machines. It was nice, neat and clean. There are PLENTY of toiletries in the locker room and bathrooms and you can even get things you forgot from guest services. My favorite part of DU was the amazing staff. Seriously, I wish they gave out more than three coins to give away. Remember the names of anyone who was exceptionally great (make a note in your phone if you have to) because if you mention their names on your exit survey they get 10 coins. Special thanks to the chef in the Barn Quincy! The food was AMAZING and we had a great conversation. I also appreciated Linda who greeted everyone coming in and out of the Market. Even if she was busy working on something at the desk, she stopped what she was doing to say hello, or goodbye, or enjoy your meal! Upon exiting the staff made it easy to check our baggage before heading to our last sessions by being at all of the elevators and entrances ready to check bags. You will definitely enjoy your stay at DU!

(Nerding out) The campus was opened on a sprawling 700,000 sq.ft. landscape on Oct 2011. It was built on time, and under budget ($286M, saving $14M), and boasts 800 hotel room for attendees. I came here as part of a special leadership program. The Deloitte staff and facilities are the best I've ever been blessed to attend. From the amazing bedroom, training rooms, dining facilities, Starbucks, food/drink areas on every floor, and of course, the top notch people - Deloitte University serves as the pinnacle of dedication the firm has to its people. Oh, and it's all free. I wish I had a bag of tokens to give to everyone at this facility. See you again soon, D.U.

PRO TIP TO SUPPORT THE AMAZING STAFF: Other groups have covered the free food and great gym. Don't get me wrong, they're awesome, but one thing you have to notice about the place is the phenomenal service. From the cleaning staff to the gym counter to the servers, everyone is amazing. I once had a woman chase me down to bring me a beef jerky snack I asked about. So... How can you give back to them? Well, in addition to the tip coins you get to give to staff in the moment, if you MENTION THEM IN THE POST STAY SURVEY BY NAME, IT IS WORTH 10 THANK YOU COINS. So pay attention, they deserve it. Also, Amparo, at Starbucks, you are lovely and put up with my crazy orders. Thank you!

The very best thing about working for Deloitte is DU. Be prepared to be awed. The best place to learn and be with other Deloitte employees. Service here is flawless. From the front desk to the food services to the bartenders. Dine at the Marketplace or grab a quick bite at the Bistro. All the free food and coffee you can consume. Don't miss the beer and barbeque at The Barn!

I heard so many great things about this place, and today I am finally seeing it with my own eyes! I am here for a week long training. Actual training hasn't started yet, but so far everything is great including the services DU staffs provide, the variety of meals offered, and the amenities. I will add more reviews as I spend more days to come :-) Hours of operation: The Market Breakfast 6:30-9:00 Lunch 11:30 - 14:00 Dinner 17:30 - 20:30 Bistro 375: Breakfast 6:00 - 11:00 Lunch 11:30 - 13:30 Specialty Coffee/Tea 11:00 - 17:00 Lounge Service 17:00 - 25:00 Late arrival food service 20:00 - 23:00 The Barn 17:30 - 25:00 Nice things: - Use tokens when someone went above and beyond to accommodate you. What a nice way to acknowledge good service.

$300 million well spent! I'm amazed by the fact that Deloitte built this campus when they were still suffering the past financial crisis. Leadership knew that they needed to invest in people to survive in this business. This place is amazing! From the barn, Dfit, free Starbucks, to the unique city places' snacks; DU is the best secret weapon that Deloitte has to attract the best talents in the field. It's so much fun to network with each person here as they all have a story to tell. I also love the fact that we got 2 coins to thank people who provided extraordinary service. Look forward to coming back here soon!

I had an amazing time. The staff was incredible, food was great, facilities were beautiful, and the training was impressive. Not to mention all of the free Starbucks and BBQ that really just set the awesomeness to the next level. Overall, I really enjoyed the connections I made at DU and I can't wait to go back!

What an incredible venue foI cannot say enough about this incredible facility. From the convenient and efficient shuttle service to and from DFW, to the food and coffee, to the accommodations and hospitality of the staff, DU is really a testament of Deloitte's commitment to the profession. A review that outlined everything that this "all inclusive accounting resort" has to offer would easily turn into a small chapter book. I'll just point out some of the most impressive features. The fitness center is full-service and has everything from cardio and aerobics equipment, to free weights, and even fitness classes (yoga, spinning, etc.) You can also borrow a bicycle to ride the trails that surround the property. I took a bike out one day, and discovered a pair of recreational fields that can be used for basketball, soccer, etc. There are also coolers full of cold bottled water on the trails. The food is amazing. It's not your typical cafeteria food at all. DU makes an effort to use locally sourced ingredients. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. They also display calorie information. There is also a full-service Starbucks that turns into a wine bar at night. The selection of wine, beer, and spirits is actually quite impressive and more extensive than what many "real" bars offer. If you are looking to get a drink, I would also suggest visiting the barn, which is an enormous sports bar across from the main building. Try not to get too full during dinner if you are planning a visit to the barn later. The food there is even better than it is in the regular cafeteria. To top it all off, everything is free... well...someone is paying for it, but it probably isn't you. And the staff actually treats you as if you have a choice of where to stay, which you probably don't if you are at DU for a training or conference. DU is truly a top notch place to train and network. Every minute detail seems to have been carefully planned for this very purpose (they can tell you all about it if you take a tour). I hope to return one day! r any kind of training! I a

This rating does not reflect the front desk staff or the wonderful teachers who cared for my son…read more The one-star review is solely due to safety and transparency concerns, specifically the owner's unwillingness to make reasonable safety improvements despite multiple incidents. In December 2023, my son fell into a fence on the playground and sustained a severe injury to his forehead. This resulted in an expensive and traumatic emergency room visit, two layers of stitches (13 total), and a permanent scar. Responsibility was placed on teachers for failing to enforce "no-run zones." This is unreasonable; the playground is small, and children need to run. I do not fault the teachers in any way. Before making the difficult decision to remove our son, we attempted to work collaboratively with the owners to improve safety. We suggested modest, common-sense measures, including padding rough stone edges. Once the state investigated and determined the playground was technically compliant with regulations, it became clear the owners were unwilling to take any additional steps. We were explicitly told, "You have a choice where to send your son to school." Since that incident, I have learned of several other playground injuries, including at least one other child who, like my son, was left with a permanent scar. Hence, this prompted my review and so parents can make informed choices. I also want to note transparency issues that further eroded trust. When communicable illnesses occurred, communication was often limited to paper signs posted near classrooms; many parents missed them. The ProCare app, designed for timely communication, was not used. This was particularly frustrating during a lice outbreak. (Lice happens; I do not blame the school for that.) However, most parents learned about it through informal parent text chains rather than official communication. Thus, when deciding where to send your child to school, I would be sure to note the playground's size, stone edges, and lack of padding. I would also ask about the owners' resistance to implementing preventive measures after serious injuries occurred.
