Then we came upon a rental from Florida West Coast Property Management and got in contact with Aimee Bahk. We knew we had to move quickly and Aimee helped get us through the process with ease! Aimee was friendly and professional. She knew the steps we were required to take for us to be approved as renters. Aimee quickly responded to any questions we had during the process. Once our move was successful, Aimee continued to keep in touch. We only had a couple of maintenance issues, which we considered normal, so we notified Aimee. Her response was fantastic! Aimee quickly got the help we needed for the repairs. On more than one occasion, Aimee would say "I appreciate you" as tenants. Well, we appreciate Aimee and want to thank her for all she has done to make our dream a reality!

You might say we were in an unhealthy, co-dependent relationship with our former management company. As in most relationships, it took a crisis for us to realize how badly our former manager was; our former tenant basically sold the property furniture out from under us and the manager claimed ignorance. Anyway, I digress. We were fortunate to have been referred to Florida West Coast Property Managers ("FWCPM") by a realtor when we were considering selling our property. The difference between our former management company and FWCPM could not be greater. Our manager Aimee Bahk is professional, courteous, and a delight to work with. She has helped us through many difficult situations such as finding new tenants and managing repair and installation work orders. If you are in need of excellent management for your rental property on the Florida west coast, look no further than the staff at Florida West Coast Property Management.

They screw and defraud their tenants in every way they can. I've rented for two decades and have never had such a bad experience as when they took over at Dana Park in Mesa and destroyed the beauty, community, happy vibe and feel of a once pleasant community. Misha Gilbert, the on-site manager is the rudest, most condescending, and unpleasant person you'll ever meet. She's hated by all the tenants but I'm pretty sure they keep her around bc she works very hard to nickle and dime tenants. And thats the only thing she works at bc she doesnt do anything for tenants. Mgmt is regularly sending out threatening and/or scolding texts, reminding tenants of endless rules, such as NOTHING, not even curtains on the patio. They have no respect for privacy. They are always snooping. During one of the many "inspections" Misha entered my apt and immediately began screaming at me for having up patio shades. I had a west facing patio. They are insane. And good luck getting ahold of anyone from Baron. Lol. It wont happen. The nightmare doesn't end when you move out either, they try to defraud tenants by strapping them w $1000 charges upon leaving. They did this to myself as well as some other tenants who also left around the same time I did. When I asked for the reason for the charges, I was given small, grainy pics of cobwebs, stickers, a plain wall, etc., and a toilet that was trash when moved in. No joke. When I asked for an itemized list of charges related to the pics I was given, crickets. When I told them the toilet looked like that when I moved in, crickets. They literally cannot substantiate the charges and didn't even try to, but they keep sending emails to pay. I am SO much happier after leaving. I could go on but yeah. This is your sign. Go anywhere else. All the nearby places are so much better.

They showed me how to take the worry out of owning an income property and avoiding the pitfalls that so many of us, not from the area fall in to. Eventually we got referred to Gulf Income Properties by a good friend and Terrence and Jason quickly swooped in to pick up where the other company left off, they've made repairs and improvements that we wouldn't have thought about, and in short order found tenants for us, and communicated constantly throughout the process! Can't recommend them enough! Jason and Terrence have been great and I'm so happy we found them. I liked the unit/side of the complex I lived at here (April 2009 thru Jan. 2010), as it was kind of…read moreannexed from the rest of the property. It was right next to the dog walk area and very close to one of the laundry rooms. I had a corner 1 bedroom unit (#1905) with decent, quiet, older neighbors. I can't speak for the rest of the complex, some of it can be considered somewhat questionable, but considering the area, it was par for the course. I moved here after seeing a Craigslist special posted for a cheap studio. I went to visit and for twenty bucks more I went for the one bedroom because of the decent extra space for the money. I got one month's free rent and the pet deposit was doable. The older smoking lady with the red hair that was at the management office at the time was accomodating on getting me in. My rent was about $500 a month. There is a bus stop in front on Hwy 301. The complex itself is in an accessible, convenient location (if you have a vehicle), just south of University. It's definitely an older complex. My particular unit's decor was of the well-maintained late 80's kind. Functional and livable. No bugs. The storage/laundry room with the extra attic space access was handy. I liked the layout with the way the extra closet and bathroom were situated. The kitchen was separated by a partially open built-in cabinet shelf unit. Not a lot of counter space though. Floors were carpet and older vinyl. No dishwasher, just a basic stove and fridge. Lots of closet/storage space overall for one person with a moderate amount of crap. It was a sufficient post-breakup, need-to-get-out-hella-fast interim apartment. The one thing that pissed me off was that my water bill was consistently $70-$90 every month while my neighbors' next door clocked in at less than $40 and there were TWO people living in his apartment. When I addressed it with the management, an older, heavyset, short/dark haired lady brushed it off like it was a normal happenstance. Or at least something she wasn't going to allow herself to get overly concerned about. Aside from sending someone out to check the toilet that was running (which stopped, but didn't really help the bill) that's where the resolution ended. Prior to that I had called the water company to check if there was an issue, but they did not detect anything. I used to pay $90 a month for water in a HOUSE in Bradenton with 3 people living in it. I wish I would have made more of a big deal of it at the time. I think there could have been a leak in the pipes in the walls, but how was I going to prove that? You know, I was going to give them 3 stars because I was chill with my apartment, but thinking about the water issue now again I think I will reduce it to 2. Oh, and if you were 3 or 5 days late with your rent you were charged like an extra $100 and then a little extra on a per day level after that.

The floors are uneven, the neighborhood is bad, the management sucks and will lie to you ! The airport is really close and the jets go by all day and night. They are so close that it messes with the cable and internet. DONT RENT HERE!!!!
