Dr. Baumann listened to me and explained that teeth cleaning was done quite differently now and that he assured me it was not painful and I would not be scraped with archaic tools, just the power of water. Every step of the way the Hygienist was kind, calming and very good at her job. It was not painful at all and I will go to get my teeth cleaned every 4 months from now on. In total, I paid approximately $50,000 for a full-lower dental implants under the assumption that I was receiving high-quality, long-lasting treatment backed by professional integrity and care. However, less that three years after the procedure, the implants have failed not once, but twice. This is completely unacceptable for a procedure of this magnitude and cost. Each time the implants have broken, I have been left not only dealing with the physical pain and inconvenience, but also with an emotional and financial burden that should never have been necessary - especially after paying a premium price for what was supposed to be permanent, top-tier dental work. To make matters worse, when I sought accountablity and assistance from your office regarding these failures, you and your staff have refused to stand by your work. I find this deeply unethical and disappointing. Patients who invest their trust - and signifacant financial resources - in your care deserve better. Frankly, I feel taken advantage of and cheated. I opt for just a crown instead and never had any problems. Found another dentist that saw a gap from the crown where bacteria could get in . Palm desert dental center does substandard work .. also, Dr kuncke is nice but so rude to the staff .. he was so rough my jaw was sore for over a week . So many other representable dentist in the Coachella valley.. I would never refer anybody to this dentist office

Of course I paid that because discussing a redo, we wouldn't really know if it was an option. Turns out my insurance did pay part and the office sent the refund check right after my insurance processed the claim. Dr Wittenauer was very sensitive to my reactions and made adjustments as he worked. I highly recommend him for root canals and consultations. To find someone willing to do retreat a root canal can be rare. And the decision was totally up to me, I didn't feel pressured one way or the other.
