This is the best investment I have made for myself and have and will continue to use her skills to help in establishing healthy eating habits. Day one Joe diagnosed the problem and it was fixed without me even asking!There are two sides of the gym, dedicated for electric weightlifting on one side, and the other side, high intensity, interval training. This shit is easily accessible, clean, and has easy parking. It is not a globo gym, nor is it simply an iron fitness. There is space for what you need if it's a casino workout, or you're dropping in for open gym or individual weightlifting session. Coaches run classes on time, one hour, which is not the experience that I have had other community style gyms in the past in the area. American flag over the door, attentive coaches and community, never asking for reviews online (a great plus!), accessible in ten minutes or less from JBLM, Lakewood, all the way up to Ruston. And in my opinion a more accurate representation of the disaster of a business you're considering engaging with. Overall experience was terrible. The consultation in general was simply an excuse to push processed, expensive packaged foods like shakes, bars, etc. instead of teaching clients how to eat real food in a sustainable way. I decided not to move forward with the program after meeting with the Dr. Weeks later I received an invoice that brings me to the disaster of their billing. Their "insurance experts" and front office completely miss the boat on accurately explaining the offices costs. When I walked in the gal attempted to charge me $95 (I later learned this was the full cost if I had no insurance, in hindsight I should have simply paid this). I told her I was quoted $45 by the billing team and wasn't interested in paying $95 for a consultation so if it was that vs. $45 cancel the appointment. She went to the back and came back out and said oh year $45. Ok. Two weeks later, after paying the $45 the day of the appointment, I received a bill for $92.88. Which by the way in hindsight NOT using insurance would have been better for me, wish their "insurance expert" had mentioned that when she ran my insurance and told me the cost for a consultaton would be $45. The billing company (they outsource it) was really nice to work with and apologetic explaining they've had high turn over at the medical office and have been having problems with clients not having expenses properly explained. Apparently I'm not the first to have this or a similar issue. They escalated my call back to Rainier Medical who came back and said the costs are listed on the website and I signed something when I showed up that said I'd pay whatever was billed so it was due. I paid the $92.88 (plus the original $45) and am wiping my hands of the experience but hope by sharing others will know to (a) avoid this place, the services aren't worth it and (b) if you do go don't trust the billing/front desk team to be helpful.

I have absolutely no reason to lie about my experience with them . I believe my consistency speaks for itself and shows I am being honest. Most businesses either don't respond or ask how they can improve. Not address it by implying the person a liar. Oh and by the way, I recently went to another Nutritionist and learned so much more in 1 hour with her than I did in the 7 or so visits with Cathy. AND they took care of billing my insurance. Update: 5/28/15 I received a letter from a lawyer shortly after this last review demanding I remove my review within a certain amount of days or she (Cathy) would pursue a claim against me because of my false and defamatory statements. I supposedly posted opinions which I claimed to be facts. So even though I thought Yelp was a place to post my opinions about a review, I agreed to remove anything that was an "opinion". Which I have now done. I also received an email from Cathy...I wish I could post a copy here. It was not a very nice email. The most laughable part of it is that she tried to tell me the "correct" way to post a review. Apparently, I have to also say something positive about the place I am reviewing.

Well, you eat basically 6 meals a day, around 2.5 hours between meals. 4 of the meals are the packaged Medifast products, the other 2 are lean-and-greens. I was able to loss roughly 6 lbs the first week, 4 lbs the 2nd week,and it's going down down! The Cuppacino mix, was yuck, and I was about to give them lesser stars over it, but after talking to them, they are replacing the Cuppacino with another box that I like! Yeah! The Snack bars are really tasty! This really helps those that just do not have the time to figure it out. Oh, and be careful, you can have another box ordered automatically, you may have to let them know you may not want this, since I have a strict budget and cannot have automatic stuff coming to me. We were not greeted upon arrival, and the person who appeared to be the owner or manager was preoccupied making multiple shakes for her son while chatting about the new barstools she had purchased. Nearly 10 minutes passed before we were acknowledged, and another 10 before we were told she would be with us shortly. When my order was finally made, it was incorrect. Before I could let them know that I was fine with the mistake, the drink was dumped and remade, adding even more to the wait time. Unfortunately, the remake was also incorrect--this time missing the powder flavoring I had originally requested--resulting in a plain shake. Given the extended wait, the lack of customer service, and the price point, I cannot justify returning. I value supporting small businesses, but this experience demonstrated why many customers turn to chain establishments that have the staffing and systems to provide consistent service.

My son was seeing another chiro in town and it was going well, but my son kept going to his chiro about his feet and knee pain (he'd just started running Cross Country). Trying to teach my son self-advocacy, I had him discuss his pain with the dr 2-3 times and then on the last visit I got involved to assure communication on the pain/discomfort was clear. Dr was clear, he said it was nothing to worry about. I heard about Dr Chau and his extensive training in extremities and thought we'd get a second option. After our first visit, we've never gone back to our original chiro, not because he/she/they were bad in any way, but because Dr Chau is so much better! Within 30 seconds (post discussion) Dr Chau visually called our 2-3 areas needing alignment (my son is flat footed), released an intense amount of strain in the hips (watched my typically non- responsive son wiggle from pressure targeting/ release on the table), some knee and additional adjusting, my son got up from the table and said "wow!" We walked out of the office with shoe inserts and a fresh kid ready to get back at it. That was 4 years ago and since then, we've continued to work thru other areas. I called the office and they squeezed me in that day. I knew all I had to do was be able to get to the car and into the office and I would be okay. You would think that someone who sees these back issues endlessly would become bored or slightly indifferent. But Dr Keena snapped into a sense of urgency and empathy, with a problem she couldn't see. She made me feel heard and understood and she was taking me seriously. She squeezed me in 3 days in a row and I was walking completely normal by the 3rd appointment. You would never know only a few days beforehand I couldn't stand up. I see Keena for chiropractic adjustments, Maria for nutrition and Toni for massage. I had been going through long term stomach pain and after having visted many doctors and underwent multiple exploratory procedures nothing had been found. I had a free (during patient day) visit with Maria who suggested I try certain supplements and adjust my diet to eliminate foods that I showed a sensitivity to. After a couple weeks I was relieved of the pain, and now it only comes back when I am not eating what I should. Wish I would have started here! Keena has been great for the adjustments with the scoliosis I have in my lower back. Using the activator she also adjust sinuses and other things I've never had done before. Overall I feel they are unique in their methods, current and knowledgeable. Oh and to top it off they are always very friendly, and caring :).
